Roles & Responsibilities

• Single Family office or private wealth tax compliance and annual declaration to MAS experience is preferred.
• Manage client portfolio in the area of tax compliance and provide tax advisory services.
• Review, provide recommendations on agreements and/or documents of clients for compliance and risk mitigation purposes.
• Review, provide recommendations, solutions on clients’ portfolio and to understand the clients' needs.
• Assist with the preparation of responses to Tax authorities’ queries and any audits.
• Proficient in MAS reporting requirement.
• Work collaboratively with business areas as well as other corporate functions, such as provide tax technical support and advisory.
• Manage the management fee agreements, supporting documentations and computations.
• Liaise with clients and collate the necessary information.
• Preparation tax computations (Corporate & Personal).
• Preparation detailed computations to calculate tax liability.
• Submit tax computations/returns to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (“IRAS”).
• Experienced in various tax matters, including withholding tax S45 Form, COR application, ECI filing, GST submissions.
• Assist in attending to queries raised by IRAS.
• Provide advisory and collaborated with cross-functional teams, including auditors and legal advisors, to support client needs and deliver comprehensive tax solutions.
• Assist with any other matters in relation to tax.

Requirements

• Familiar with MAS requirements.
• Minimum 5 years related experience, preferably from a private service / financial services or professional services firm / Accounting firm.
• Experience in SFO tax preparation, review and advisory is an added advantage.
• Must be familiar with Singapore Tax guidelines.

• Accounting :
  • Full Spectrum Finance Responsibilities: Handle all finance-related tasks independently.
  • Full Set Accounting: Manage bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, cash forecasting, month-end closing, and financial reporting, including group consolidation.
  • Policy Management: Implement and manage policies, transfer pricing mechanisms, time tracking systems, and intercompany invoicing.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Prepare cash flow forecasts for the India entity.
  • Tax Responsibilities: Prepare quarterly GST returns, employee tax returns, and address all queries related to the Indian entity.
  • Bank Liaison: Manage banking matters.
  • Consultant Coordination: Work with consultants and service providers on tax (direct and indirect) and statutory law matters (including but not limited to Company Law, PF, FEMA).
  • Statutory Audit Management: Lead and manage the statutory audit process from start to finish, addressing queries and interpreting reporting standards.
  • Payroll and Vendor Payments: Process monthly payroll, expense claims, and vendor payments.

• Responsible for all Master Keys and Emergency Key which are strictly for their use only pertaining to operation requirements.
• Liaise with the IT Department on any faults of the system at times of emergency.
