Responsibilities

• Drives internal and 3rd party service provider/ vendor review meetings covering issues, performance, service improvements, quality and processes
• Assist as Subject Matter Expert and drive organizational capability to effectively apply service operations and maintenance framework

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Successful track record in enterprise application support, user and vendor liaison for small to mid-scale projects
• Experience in assessment of requirements feasibility, functional and technical design, and involved in project life cycle
• Strong competency in IT technologies covering operating systems, databases technologies, etc
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with teams from other departments, hospital departments and/or vendors
• Proficient in MS Office and basic understanding of Windows Servers and MS SQL/MySQL
• Installation and setup of retail POS system experience will be an advantage
• Experience in healthcare industry is added advantage

You will be responsible for the end-to-end software development and support for all work related to projects, quarterly change requests, L3 production fixes. This includes software product implementation and administration, application design, development, implementation, testing and support.

You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team’s delivery in conformance with the Bank-defined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner with other technology functions to help deliver required technology solutions.

Other responsibilities include:

- Create frameworks, technical features which helps in faster operationalisation of Data models, Analytical models(including AI/ML) and user generated contents (dashboards, reports etc)

- Effectively partner with data scientists in enabling faster adoption of AL/ML model based systems

- Independently install, customise and integrate software packages and programs

- Carry out POCs involving new data technologies

- Design and develop application frameworks for data integration

- Create technical documents such as solution design, program specifications for target solutions

- Perform design and development of applications which may not be limited to: Software Applications, Data Integration, User Interfaces, Automation

- Maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure a platform centric management of software applications

- Performance tuning

- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing

- Perform tasks as part of a cross functional development team using agile or other methodologies and utilising project management software

Requirements

• Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred.
• CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or COMIT (Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles
• Team player with project management and people management skills

a. Collaborate with BU Specialists to elicit and review business requirements

b. Analyse and document the "to be" business and operations processes based on the agreed requirements and / or function points, perform impact assessment

c. Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional and non-functional requirements based on business requirements

d. High level solutioning

e. Monitor and manage risks /issues related to requirements and scope creep

f. Transition functional and non-functional requirements to System Analysts, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements

Change management

a. Undertake scoping and evaluation of new initiatives. Defining overall considerations, including scalability, maintainability, cost, operations and technology principal risk to provide a recommendation

b. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams including business analysts, solution architect, business technology services teams, and testing teams to define/clarify requirements

c. Work with business technology services team on the smooth delivery of the solution

d. Review Test Strategy, help plan and support the user acceptance testing and help address any issues. Ensures that there is a business perspective on how the new operations and technical capabilities will be delivered to the business.
