We are looking for a skilled and experienced Database Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, administration, and maintenance of our Microsoft SQL Server databases. You will ensure high availability, performance optimization, and integrity of the database systems while supporting data migration and integration efforts.

As a DB Lead, you will work collaboratively with both on-site and offshore teams to troubleshoot, monitor, and enhance database operations.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

· 8+years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server development and database administration.

· Strong experience in database backup, recovery, and high availability configuration.

· Proven track record in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.

· In-depth knowledge of MSSQL database architecture and administration.

· Experience with writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data migration.

· Strong familiarity with database monitoring tools and techniques.

· Expertise in configuring and managing SQL Server’s High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.

· Certifications in SQL Server administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate).

· Familiarity with cloud-based databases and services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, etc.).

· Experience with automation tools and database management frameworks.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

· Experience in managing cross-functional communication with both onsite and offshore teams.

We are seeking a proactive problem-solver with strong administrative, organizational, and HR skills who excels in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Human Resources:

• Manage the employee HR process, including onboarding, offboarding, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Handle staff appraisals, performance reviews, and salary reviews.
• Maintain accurate records of employee leave, attendance, and payroll matters with the use of our HR software.
• Prepare and submit IR8A forms and ensure compliance with relevant HR policies.

Administration:

• Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth coordination among departments.
• Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings and maintaining office supplies.

Financial Management:

• Work closely with the accounting partner to prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and GST submissions.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and manage daily accounting entries.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and manage cashflow.

Accounts Management:

• Process invoices, payment approvals, and collections.
• Communicate with customers regarding payment matters and resolve issues promptly.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Support internal teams by providing financial analysis and insights for decision-making.
• Work with other departments to resolve discrepancies and support organizational goals.

Continuous Improvement:

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, or equivalent.

You Will
