As a Lead Project Manager (Scrum Master), you will lead a team supporting Software Applications Product Development for the Defence account (Gov+), you will be responsible for driving the project development and management of technology products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet user needs and business objectives. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, business acumen, strong communication skills, experience in business consulting and analysis, leading teams across different product modules, and close collaboration with the Product Owner.
Product Development
- Product Vision and Strategy:
- Define and communicate the product vision and strategy.
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and pain points, but at the same time reference similar products in the market.
- Analyze data to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, Change Management, and Client.
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
- Requirement Gathering and Prioritization:
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
- Product Development:
- Manage the product development lifecycle using agile methodologies.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
- User Experience and Design:
- Ensure the product delivers an excellent user experience.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and engaging interfaces.
- Product Release and Change Management (Internal Users):
- Plan and coordinate product releases, working with Change Management teams to develop release strategies.
- Monitor product performance post-release and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Use analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track product performance.
- Report on product metrics and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
- Collaboration with Product Owner:
- Work hand in hand with the Product Owner to ensure seamless execution of the product strategy.
- Align the product roadmap with the product backlog, ensuring that strategic priorities are reflected in development tasks.
- Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to maintain alignment between strategic goals and development efforts.
- Communicate insights, customer feedback, and strategic direction to the Product Owner to inform backlog priorities.
- Jointly define and review acceptance criteria for features to ensure they meet both business and technical requirements.
- Team Leadership Across Modules:
- Lead and coordinate efforts across different modules of the product.
- Foster collaboration and communication between teams working on various product components.
- Ensure integration and consistency across modules to deliver a cohesive product experience.
- Ensure that product features are consistent and harmonized across different modules and components.
Mentor and guide team members to enhance their skills and performance.
