The Distribution Intern supports the distribution team, in tasks which may include conducting business and competitor research, identifying content distribution opportunities across SEA territories, develop sales literatures, participating in meetings and assisting the distribution department wherever possible.

Your responsibilities may span across the following areas:

• Tailor made, compile and distribute presentations and sales literature across SEA territories including Hong Kong and Taiwan.
• Prepare targeted materials for different clients across the region.
• Coordinate with teams in Los Angeles, Amsterdam and London on Film/TV distribution projects.
• Event planning, sales trips coordination and support across the Asia territories
• Special projects as needed.

The Distribution Intern plays a pivotal role in supporting the distribution deals workflow, ensuring seamless operations and robust customer support. You will assist in maintaining and enhancing CNBC’s clip licensing revenue stream, collaborating closely with the Business-to-Business (B2B) & Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Manager, EMEA, and the broader CNBC International Commercial team to drive CNBC’s APAC B2B & DTC business.

• Provide input on customer briefs, presentations, and sales literature
• Support CNBC’s B2B & DTC revenue in identifying and executing opportunities to grow CNBC’s distribution to key B2B clients, primarily financial institutions, hotels and telcos

The Distribution & Biz Development Intern supports the Distribution & Business Development team on strategic and valuation analysis across the global media landscape. You will learn how to strategically build CNBC’s arsenal of intellectual property, through in-house partnerships and acquisitions, for CNBC to trade with existing distribution channels, emerging platforms and branded affiliates.

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Research and synthesize market data to identify and evaluate new business / investment / partnership opportunities
• Prepare financial and strategic analysis on competitors and markets
• Track News media trends and report key findings
• Support CNBC’s Clip Licensing business; work directly with the Distribution Coordinator to manage all aspects of clip licensing, from the clipping of the guest interviews to the delivery and billing
• Manage the e-commerce Clip Licensing website; ensure all guest interviews are published daily
• Liaise with NBCU Networks team in APAC and EMEA to ensure they are able to leverage on the full resource of CNBC, support negotiations, renewals, new deals to retain and grow affiliate revenues
• Provide basic maintenance support to existing partners

Job Purpose:  

The Marketing Coordinator has the overall responsibility for being the custodian for sub-function of the marketing team for the Company's Technology Solutions, India. Assisting in events, communications, managing the vendor portals and helping in maintaining the the Company's Brand image.

Responsibilities:

• Implements marketing plans and processes across all vendors.

• Understands and manages all the vendor portals for the marketing function.

• Raises requests for activities and ensures that the same is communicated to the teams.

• Filing claims for vendors and reconciliation with the Company's Finance team.

• Purchase order and debit note management for all third-party vendors.

• Assists in the communications function.

• Database and MIS analysis of business data for marketing usage.

• Custodian for all marketing collaterals- ensures dispatch and receipt of each.

• Custodian for all marketing assets and ensures update of each.

• Helps in conducting events and sourcing for the same.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Good Communication skills (Both written and oral)

• Seeks to build high customers satisfaction (internal and external)

• Must have 2 or more years of experience in marketing / sales co-ordination.

• Prior experience in distribution and/or IT preferred

• University degree or equivalent
