To perform the tasks of teaching, training, supervising, maintaining and developing the functioning level of client to function adequately and independently in the areas of Activities of Daily Living, Community Living, Social and Recreational Skills.

Client Engagement & Development

• To meaningfully engage, teach, train, supervise, maintain and develop the functioning level of clients to function adequately and independently in the following areas:

• Activities of Daily Living
• Home Living Skills
• Community Living & Mobility Skills
• Social and Recreational Skills
• Work Readiness Skills

Client/Trainee Management & Development

• Formulate and implement Individual Learning Programme (ILP) through professional assessment
• Engage in continuous assessment, training and evaluation of trainees’ holistic development
• Plan and Implement appropriate group activities
• Plan, implement and monitor trainees’ security and safety procedures

 Support Allied Health Professionals

• Monitor and implement programmes designed by Allied Health Professionals in the area of health fitness & wellness programme, motivational & behaviour management plans as well as sensory awareness
• Communicate critical information to Social Worker and Centre Manager

 Administrative & Operations

• Support unit operational and logistics management
• Ensure centre/trainees safety and security
• Update of  clients’/trainee’s daily attendance and participation in activities, events and programmes in various client management system platforms
• Engage in caregiver dialogue sessions, home visits and maintain good rapport and communication with parents / caregivers
• Attend staff meeting and training as required

 Event Management

Staff will be assigned to oversee at least one of the following duties and will provide assistance to the other staff when required:

Camp, Festive Celebrations, Sports Events, First Aid & Medicare, Evacuation & Emergency Planning Team, Transport Duties, Staff Welfare and others

• Organise internal/external events and activities for trainees
• Support volunteer engagement events
• Support public education activities
• Support MINDS events at organisation level

• Minimum O levels
• NITEC Certificate in Community Care & Social Services (ITE)
• Certificate of Special Needs Education (MOE)

The Preschool Administrator will oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and productive environment for both students and staff. The role includes managing administrative duties, coordinating with teachers and parents, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting the school’s educational mission. This position is crucial in ensuring the preschool runs smoothly and adheres to all state and educational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Management:

• Oversee the day-to-day administrative tasks of the preschool, including student records, attendance, and staff schedules.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Manage school resources and supplies, coordinating with vendors and maintaining school inventory.
• Support the Director in budgeting, financial reporting, auditing, and managing enrichment vendors and school fees.

Communication and Coordination:

• Serve as a point of contact for parents, handling inquiries, complaints, and facilitating clear communication between parents and teachers.
• Coordinate parent-teacher meetings, school events, and other activities that foster community engagement.
• Assist in updating the school’s communication platforms such as newsletters, social media, and emails.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Ensure the preschool complies with health, safety, and emergency protocols.
• Implement and oversee procedures related to child health, including administering medications, handling emergencies, and coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in early childhood education or school administration.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of licensing regulations and accreditation processes for preschools.
• Proficiency in office software, including MS Office, Google, and school management systems.

Preferred Qualifications/Related Experience:

• Prior experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management for educational institutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• MOE is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to operate canteen stall in schools.
• The rental for a canteen stall ranges from $5 to $15/month during school terms. Stallholders will pay for their usage of the utilities (water, electricity and gas).
• The successful applicant must attend the Workforce Skills Qualification (WSQ) Food Safety Course Level 1 conducted by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG)-approved training providers. Only those who pass can apply the hawker license from Singapore Food Agency (SFA) to operate the canteen stall.

Requirements

1. Must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;
2. Able to provide food/drinks that meet the health/nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (Healthy Meals in School Programme);
3. Able to provide good service and quality food/drinks at reasonable prices;
4. Must be in personal attendance at the stall during operating hours.

5. Creativity and Flexibility: possess creativity to design engaging and stimulating activities for children, flexible in adapting their teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs
6. Organization and Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills for managing a classroom and planning educational activities. Preschool teachers should be able to create and follow schedules, maintain records, and manage resources effectively
7. Physical Stamina: physically fit with the stamina to actively engage with children throughout the day
