The guiding principle of the App Store is simple — we want to provide a safe experience for users to get apps and a great opportunity for all developers to be successful. • Through our training process, you will be an expert in understanding, supporting, and improving the App Review process.
• As a trained specialist, you will demonstrate excellence in determining whether apps are reliable, perform as expected, and are free of offensive material.
• You will screen every app assigned to you based on a set of technical, content, and design criteria.
• You will quickly scan app concepts and identify recent app updates changes to assess app complexity.
• You will work independently and as part of a team, and remain flexible to the needs of the business.
• You will communicate clearly and provide regular feedback to developers.
• You will collaborate with team members and share suggestions on business and process improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Language proficiency in English and Mongolian, as this role will frequently be supporting language-specific apps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with content review or similar environment.
• Ability to identify changes to apps between submissions, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent judgment and integrity, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Ability to work quickly and proficiently under tight timelines, while prioritizing a full workload and delivering exceptional quality.
• Comfortable reviewing a consistently high volume of apps daily.

We are seeking an editor for our Chinese-language news service. You will join a dynamic team that produces markets-focused content around the globe. You will be monitoring, translating, writing and editing compelling stories that resonate with a Chinese-reading audience. It goes beyond straight translation work, with members of the team encouraged to add value by applying news and editorial judgement to the content they produce. While the primary focus will be on Chinese-language stories, you will also be expected to work closely with counterparts across the newsroom, including those working in English.

We'll trust you to:

• Have intuitive news judgment around global markets, economic and political trends and the confidence to make calls on coverage
• Provide accurate, fast and comprehensive English-to-Chinese news translation
• Create content, write and edit copy designed to provide insight for Chinese-reading traders and analysts based in Greater China and around the world
• Build relationships across the newsroom to ensure our coverage captures the context of local developments while resonating with global audiences

You'll need to have:

• At least 5 years of recent experience in financial journalism
• Experience working in a real-time news environment
• Experience translating, writing and editing news articles in Chinese language
• Proven news judgement and a strong sense of urgency
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the economy and financial markets as well as the dynamics that move various asset prices
• Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English to support China coverage
• Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
