Requirements:

Degree or diploma and aptitude relevant to Broadcast Engineering (specializing in Broadcast Engineering, including System / Audio Engineering / IT or any other related area).

Safety Knowledge: Good knowledge of the principles of safety at work as applied in the TV industry.

Understanding of OB Systems: Understanding of Outside Broadcast systems and environment.

Knowledge and experience of operating and troubleshooting a range of OB equipment in sound, communication, IP, etc.

Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in Outside Broadcast Environment.

Event Experience: Experience with internatinal scale events is necessary.

Job Scopes: (Before, During & After Project)

Review the operations of the Engineering Department to ensure the quality of broadcast operations meet industry standards.

Remain up-to-date with outdoor broadcast technology and equipment.

Guide the Assistant Engineers to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and plan for their training where needed.

Ensure procedure for video equipment testing and preparation is in place.

Ensure adequate processes are in place for communication / escalation of technical related problems that arise during a project.

Keep Engineering environment (Warehouse, Engineering Room and desks) clean, functional, safe and presentable.

Ensure compliance of engineering procedures with Health & Safety guidelines.

Supervise and schedule maintenance of specific categories of broadcast equipment to ensure the equipment are fully functional and well maintained (internally and externally clean/dust-free).

Monitor physical and technical quality and appearance of broadcast equipment. Prepare the maintenance & improvement report.

Plan and maintain a list of specific categories of broadcast equipment which require scheduled maintenance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the IT Service Management team. This is an individual contributor role.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Manage, develop, enhance and support company’s IT Service management platform. Drive strategic development and enhance its usability and integration with other tools and process to maximise value.
• Drive IT Operational Service Delivery and management activities, e.g. Incident, Problem, Change, Patch, Configuration and Asset management processes. This includes support of IT operational incidents after office hours.
• Support management and drive collaboration of day to day operational activities across various towers and stakeholders from datacentre facilities, network and platforms
• Manage and drive the IT Service Provider’s performance for IT Operations and ensure Service Level Agreements have been fulfilled and improvement plans to be established
• Serve as the Point of Contact for IT initiatives’ performance, services and changes.
• Facilitate system and service handover to the IT operations for any new applications and major enhancements
• Any relevant ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Degree in IT related discipline & IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification
• Minimum 5 – 8 yrs of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and IT Service Management
• Experienced in project management for IT Infrastructure initiatives, scripting, system admin capabilities, service automation and related technologies.
• Knowledge of actual development and Hands-on administration on ServiceNow Platform. Certification in ServiceNow ITSM CAS, CAD or CIS preferred
• Knowledge in scripting on Json, Python or Javascript on Monitoring / Orchestration platforms, Splunk, ServiceNow or APM tool will be an added advantage
• Working knowledge on network, IT DevOps technologies, Linux, Wintel, VMware and Cloud technologies (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge and experience in DevOps and Agile
• Responsive to dynamic environment
• Effective & Excellent Skills in Communication (both written and spoken) as well as Vendor and People/Relationship Management
• User-Oriented with good appreciation of business operations
• Diligent and willing to work beyond office hours

What you will be doing :

• Conduct building energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs and identify potential conservation measures
• Perform data analysis and evaluate equipment performance with respect to energy efficiency
• Initiate energy saving proposals to optimize equipment operations and control strategies
• Review and recommend equipment retrofits for energy efficient replacements
• Design consultancy and project management for equipment retrofits
• Achieve Green Building certifications (eg. Green Mark, LEEDs, WELLs etc) for clients through conducting gap analysis and proposing solutions for implementation to enhance building performance
• Work closely with sales team in introducing sales strategies, technical scope analysis, capability demonstrations, development of proposals and projects cost estimates
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of project schedules
• Manage a team of Engineers

Requirements :

• Degree or equivalent relating to mechanical or electrical engineering or related technical discipline
• Preferable with certification of Energy Auditor / SCEM / GMAP / LEED / WELL
• travel and perform hands-on work at project sites
• Team player, possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in technical report writing
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge of ACMV systems, design software and/or AutoCAD will be advantageous
