Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.
• Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.
• To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.
• Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.
• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.
• Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.
• Support all in-house EHS initatives.

Requirement:

• Only Singaporean / PR will be considered for this position
• Specialist diploma in WSH or MOM Recognised certificates
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Safety Officer or related experiences
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) is a must.
• Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.
• Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.

Department: General Secretary's Office (GSO)

Reports To: General Secretary’s Office Manager/Director

Overall Responsibilities:

As part of the General Secretary’s Office, provide broad spectrum support to the General Secretary/CEO and the Bible Society. This includes various communications and liaison functions, capability development, administrative support, community relations, governance and compliance, as well as supporting other special projects and initiatives as required.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide general administrative support to the General Secretary/CEO and the Bible Society, including organising meetings and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively track, file, archive and retrieve key business information for future reference, including contracts and business documents.
• Represent the Bible Society on behalf of the General Secretary/CEO when relating to external agencies and strategic partners.
• Prepare and disseminate critical information to internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with all internal departments and coordinate activities to ensure activities meet the objectives of the Bible Society.
• Monitor the progress of key assignments as directed by the General Secretary/CEO, following up with relevant parties when necessary.
• Coordinate internal processes involving other business units for customer inquiries, reviews, evaluations and escalations, not limited to implementing new processes and documentation to improve workflow, governance, and compliance, including compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
• Manage the volunteers’ and internship programme – Sowers-in-Action (SIA).
• Engage in outreach and community relations activities with churches and other Christian organisations, including establishing local SIA chapters.
• Any other duties as assigned by the General Secretary/ CEO.

• Diploma or Degree holder in any relevant disciplines
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; comfortable with formal business writing

Responsibilities include managing communication with external providers/clients to address vetting requirements and ensuring adherence to service levels.

The Responsibilities:

• Support the Vetting Manager in day-to-day operations and take responsibility for the vetting process within Fleet Services and Third Party (Chartered) vessels in collaboration with various Business Lines
• Liaise with external providers/clients to address vetting requirements and ensure adherence to service levels
• Monitor the OVID/CMID status of all Fleet Services managed vessels, overseeing the correct administration of inspection processes in the internal database
• Maintain the third party vessel database (VINE) of vetted vessels and follow up on any open corrective/preventive actions
• Update, check, and maintain the OCIMF Vessel Particulars Questionnaires (OVPQ), the IMCA Vessel Particulars (CMID), and the OVID & CMID databases in close cooperation with the Marine Assurance Officers
• Assist in the preparation of required vetting statistics (Fleet Services & 3rd party vessels) and contribute to the preparation of internal periodical/monthly/quarterly reports for the vetting department
• Assist in the preparation and data collection for OVMSA audits and various client bidding questionnaires in close cooperation with the Vetting Manager
• Handle vetting-related and ad hoc queries

The Requirements:

• Minimum two (2) years of higher technical education (e.g. Naval Architecture, Naval Engineering, or Maritime Education) and experience as a certified vessel engineer
• Work experience in the Maritime Industry with a minimum of three (3) years of sailing experience or minimum three (3) years of onshore work experience with the vessel owner/operator in vessel QHSSE and/or technical superintendent position
• Strong organizational, coordination, and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to interact effectively with a variety of people in varied settings and excellent communication skills in English, both in written and spoken
• Ability to visit vessels, other marine assets, and other Fleet Services offices when required
