• Lead daily briefing and execute the project activities and oversee implementation of the quality plan
• Coordinate installation activities, site safety, order, arrange and receive M&E major equipment delivery for contractors’ installation
• Arrange and attend material, equipment, installation, and testing inspection
• Carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards and safety aspects

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Building M&E Service (ACMV, FP, P&S, BMS, Ele and ELV) , Mechanical and Eletrical Engineering
• Min 8 years of experience
• Familiar to Building services (ACMV, FP, P&S, BMS, Ele and ELV) code requirement and basic design and necessary submission for tender bidding and construction, TOP and CSC
• Experiences for coordination with architecture, C&S and process team for M&E Space, maintenance and fire exit routing
• Skilled in design, coordination, and project management
• Experience in tender bidding, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• Interpersonal, communication skills & leadership
• QP/PE, Green Mark manager or other BCA/SCDF/PUB authority certification are highly desirable

Job Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager with a background in mechanical engineering and project management, preferably from the contractor industry, to join our team for an LTA project. The role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing project execution, ensuring technical accuracy, maintaining schedules, and delivering high-quality outcomes within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing mechanical engineering projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Analyze customer design proposals and specifications to determine cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure professional quality standards across all facets of project work.
• Support the Project Manager in leading project teams to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Oversee the allocation of resources, documentation, and activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Prepare and review project specifications and concept reports.
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships while identifying opportunities for business growth.
• Mentor technical staff and assign duties as required.
• Monitor quality and cost control during the design and construction phases.
• Track project schedules, budget status, and resource utilization.
• Identify and escalate the need for additional services and fees when necessary.
• Review and approve shop drawings and other project deliverables.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering projects, with a preference for candidates from the contractor industry.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.
• Familiarity with LTA projects and requirements is an advantage.
