Job Description

The Finance Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the financial health and efficiency of the organization. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting in financial planning and analysis. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making.

Job Scope

Accounting and Bookkeeping:

• Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions.
• Responsible for monthly management accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure timely invoices/bills registration.
• Prepare and process sales POs - following up closely with debtors for sales proceeds.
• Prepare and process monthly payroll & CPF and employee claims.

Financial Reporting and Budgeting

• Responsible for financial policies and procedures, budgeting and tax.
• Responsible for annual/ biannual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Ensure timely financial closing and reporting functions – monthly.
• Prepare monthly management report and highlight the financial performance and financial position of the company to the finance manager’s review and action.

Compliance and Audits:

• Implement and operate controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

Cash Flow Management:

• Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
• Prepare cash flow statements and projections.
• Assist in liquidity planning and cash flow optimization.

Support and Collaboration:

• Communicate and work with overseas third party partners and corporate office partners.
• To perform any other function and tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
• Constantly correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
• Strictly adhere and comply to instructions provided by Head of Finance.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Recognized ACCA / Diploma in Accounting & Finance / Business or equivalent qualification.
• 2-3 years minimum experience preferred – experience in a listed company and XERO accounting software would be an added advantage.
• Detailed oriented, meticulous, strong discipline, able to perform and manage deadlines effectively.
• Able to communicate effectively & professionally with vendors and other departments of the company.
• Ability to start immediately would be an added advantage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for budgeting, financial planning including cash flow management and analysis of the financial performance of a group of companies
• Prepare and ensure timely and accurate monthly consolidated financial statements and accounts schedules
• Support Investment and Asset Managers in timely reporting to Management and Investors
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and lawyers to support audit, tax and other statutory requirements
• Establish collaborative business partnering relationship and lead the team in improving existing policies and processes and transform it through the active adoption of digital tools for better efficiency and costs savings
• Any other duties assigned

REQUIREMENT

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
• At least 4 years of experience in handling full set of accounts
• Relevant experiences from the Real Estate and/or Healthcare industry will be preferred
• Experience in handling real estate and property leasing accounts are preferred
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to multi-task and manage several companies in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, committed and takes initiative on the job
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

• Support full spectrum finance duties, including but not limited to procurement, payments, accounts receivables in line with hosting institutions and grantor guidelines
• Provide grant management administration, such as grant claims, progress report’s financial reporting and other grant variation request.
• Provide administrative support, such as assets management, filing, phone enquiries, mails collections, stationery orders, etc
• Provide finance and administrative support for Annual Scientific Meeting and assist in pre and post event activities
• Assist in other finance or administrative functions as and when required by team

Qualifications

Degree in Administration, Accounting or Finance, and minimum 2 years of work experiences

• Positive working attitude, proactive and willing to learn
• Good organization and communication skills
• Experience in SAP HANA, Ariba
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application like Excel, Word, Teams, DocuSign and online communication application is an added advantage
