Job Responsibilities:
Accounting and financial reporting
- Leading a team of Finance staff in daily financial activities
- Monitor day-to-day accounting operations and review work completed by the Finance team.
- Prepare and report monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidated financial statements to parent company, as required to upload to the group consolidation system.
- Ensure all financial, accounting and analytical reports are prepared according to the management policies and accounting standards
- Manage project cost analytics and reporting
- Coordinate financial strategic planning, analysis, costing, taxation and budgeting activities
- Assist Finance Manager in overseeing month end and year end accounts closing, monthly cashflow forecasting and annual budget preparation.
- Assist Finance Manager in preparing the financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and involve in year end stock take activity
Audit, tax and banking matters
- Take ownership on internal and external audits, handle queries from internal and external auditors, tax agent, tax authorities, government authorities and etc
- Prepare detailed financial statements and audit-related documentations
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST reports, annual corporate income tax filing, withholding tax etc.
- Liaise with the Company secretary for corporate finance related matters
- Liaise with bankers for letter of credit, banker’s guarantee etc and respond to bank queries
Others
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager
Job Requirements:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- At least 5 years relevant working experience in Manufacturing industry, experience in manufacturing costing would be an advantage
- At least 3 years in supervisory role
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs
- Prior experience with Microsoft Business Central is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership skill and high level of independence as well as the maturity and ability to work with staff at all levels.
- Short notice or immediate notice will be an added advantage
