Job Purpose

Finance Operation

• In charge of all fund-raising activities by coordinating with relevant departments to collect funds, monitor disbursement of donations and keep proper accounting records.
• Update financial reports for fund raising events, CARE Committee, Student and Parents Committees

Internal Controls, Policies and Standard Operational Procedures

• Streamline payment process within the entire school and propose feasible solutions to Director of Finance.

Requirement

• At least a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent
• Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role
• In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills as well as a high level of flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• High degree of integrity and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Create, maintain, and improve financial models to support long-term financial planning and forecasting.
• Analyze financial results, monitor key performance indicators, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the shareholders and board of directors.
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company has the necessary liquidity to meet its financial obligations and strategic initiatives.
• Manage banking relationships, optimize cash and investment strategies, and negotiate banking terms.
• Monitor and maintain the company's credit facilities, ensuring compliance with covenants and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Well verse in FP&A from Real Estate/ Asset Management background.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills. Ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proactive and self-motivated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Adaptable and able to work effectively under pressure.

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Industrial Machinery industry. They are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to assist their team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in the Central – easily accessible.

Responsibilities of Regional Finance Manager:

• Ovesee company's accounting and implement strategic Finance department's strategy
• Notify the company’s operational team of unusual accounting fluctuations
• Monitor/Review the company’s account reconciliations
• Monitor the company’s annual audit process
• Handle company matters related to Goods and Services Tax (GST) and taxation
• Evaluate and submit the necessary GST returns on a quarterly basis
• Establish/review internal controls in the Finance team, implementing new controls if required
• All other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent qualifications/certifications
• Minimum 5 years of relevant MNC working experience, with regional exposure
• Prior Taxation and Treasury experience is highly prefered
