1. Supervise, direct and instruct junior foreman and contractors by ensuring technical

specifications and drawings given are compiled within time and quality standards.

2.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure specifications are met and safety Regulations are enforced.

3. Supervise Sub-contractors and nominated subcontractors' progress and quality of work.

4. Make regular site inspections to identify nonconformances.

5. Communicate and co-ordinate between the site staff and sub-contractors.

6. Prepare and keep day work records.

1) Supervise and coordinate activities of tunnel construction crew engaged in sinking shafts, boring tunnels, placing tunnel segments, moving shield forward, and excavating in front of shield.

2) Determine spacing, alignment, and depth of blast holes.

3) Assist and support Engineers in carrying out works as assigned, and ensuring that the works are carried out to schedule and in accordance to relevant regulations.

4) Manage and supervise site workers for each shift.

5) Ensure completion of work in accordance to main contractor program and requirements safely with no accidents and incidents.

6) Troubleshooting and submit in-house report .

7) Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

8) Must know how to do hands-on training to do erecting of segment, ring building etc.

9) Able to do shift work (day and night shift) .

10) 5 years of TBM bored tunneling experience.

11) Possess Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor and BCSS-T.

Requirements

Job Description:

• To assist the Project Manager in the daily execution of work including manpower deployment, materials on-site and work schedules.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors on day-to-day operations and technical issues
• Responsible for all trades of works on-site, including structural, architectural, building, M&E etc
• Ensure good quality of work and manage defect rectifications.
• Ensure work is done in compliance with design, specifications, safety requirements and related local statutory regulations.
• Check and supervise direct labor/workers including their attendance.
• To monitor materials on-site in order to ensure that the appropriate material is available to meet the construction program.

• Delegate the works and control the projects within the budget and schedule.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) and at least 10 years of similar capacity relevant working experience in Construction.
• Able to read drawings will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills

• Lead a team up to 5paxs and above of retail staffs for day to-day sales and operations duties
