JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

-OVERSEE DAY-TO-DAY FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS TO ENSURE EFFICIENCY AND ACCURACY.

-ENSURE TIMELY SUBMISSION OF MONTHLY AND YEARLY FINANCIAL REPORTS.

-REVIEWS ALL FINANCIAL PLANS AND COMPARE TO ACTUAL RESULTS WITH A VIEW TO IDENTIFY, EXPLAIN AND CORRECT VARIANCES AS APPROPRIATE.

-ADVISE MANAGEMENT ON PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS AND SUPPORT STRATEGIC INITIATIVES.

-PREPARE BUDGET AND QUARTERLY FORECASTS.

-PREPARE LOCAL FINANCIAL REPORTS AND TAX RETURNS, INCLUDING CORPORATE TAX AND GST FILINGS.

-CONDUCT ANNUAL FINANCIAL AUDITS WITH EXTERNAL AUDITORS.

-MONITORS AND ANALYZES CASH FLOWS. AND DEBT MANAGEMENT.

-ACTS AS A LIAISON WITH REGIONAL HEAD OFFICE, AUDITORS, TAX AGENTS, COMPANY SECRETARY AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES REGARDING FINANCE, LEGAL, INSURANCE, TAX OR ANY OTHER MATTERS.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with a strong passion for the gaming industry to oversee and enhance our financial operations. This role will involve developing and implementing accounting standards, managing financial matters for both Singapore and overseas entities, and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements and group management requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish and Maintain Bookkeeping Standards:
  • Develop and establish accounting standards for Singapore and other overseas entities, to ensure the compliance with local and group financial reporting and tax filing needs.
• Accounting Automation Management:
  • Identify and prioritize automation needs, lead the automation and implementation of financial systems from 0 to 1.
• Financial Reporting:
  • Review Singapore's accounts and handle comprehensive accounting matters for other overseas entities, including but not limited to GL preparation, standalone reports or consolidation reports issuance, and other FR related statutory filings.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay updated with overseas local regulations and ensure compliance with all local reporting and filing requirements. Liaise with external auditors and corporate secretaries and regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Oversee the connection between accounting, financial reporting, and tax declarations, ensuring an understanding of their interrelations and overall compliance of regulatory requirements.
• Strategic Planning and Implementation:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization, lead the strategic planning development and implementation
• Team Management:
  • Continuously develop the skills and knowledge of the finance team, and provide tailored tasks to enhance team capabilities, driving overall team growth.
• Ad-hoc Duties:
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Group Accounting team.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting or any related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience, including experience in a professional firm and in-house financial, with experience in handling more comprehensive financial matters, financial reporting, and tax declarations.
• Strong experience in handling complex financial transactions and comprehensive accounting operations.
• Proven ability to lead the standardization and automation of financial processes, particularly for overseas regulations.
• Experience in business planning, with a proven ability to lead and execute plans effectively.
• Familiarity with office software such as Excel, PPT; proficiency in BI, SQL, VBA, and other data analysis tools is a plus.
