Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare internal management report such as daily monitoring and report calculation, daily regulatory data base calculation;
• Prepare Head Office reports and schedules required by Head Office auditors;
• Prepare MAS regulatory reports, such as MAS 610, MAS 649, MAS 758, MAS 640, etc, and respond to the inquiries related to MAS reports;
• Communicate with the company’s tax agent, provide relevant tax information, and verify the tax agent’s submitted data to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings;
• Communicate with external auditors, provide the necessary data for the audit, and ensure the company’s annual report is properly disclosed;
• Process for staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses;
• Prepare accounting schedules such as Fixed Assets Register and Listing of OPEX;
• Prepare and posting of Journal Entries;

Requirements:

• Degree in accountancy or related accounting qualifications;
• Minimum 3 years relevant accounting experience in banks;
• Basic understanding of financial products and services;
• Proficient in MS Excel is essential as incumbent need to harness data on daily basis;

The Role

The role involves providing and analyzing accurate, timely management information to support practice groups while actively managing significant matters, including budgeting, tracking, and optimizing bill collection to enhance firm profitability. Acting as a key interface between back-office accounting and fee-earning departments across Asia, the position requires close collaboration with firm members, senior partners, and practice group leaders. Key responsibilities include liaising with partners and billing associates to create detailed mandate-level budgets for larger matters, managing budgets by allocating fee-earner resources, defining work phases, and preparing reports for the Pricing Committee. Your Profile
