Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Preparation:Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and portioning ingredients.
   Follow specific instructions from chefs for more complex preparation tasks.
   
2. Cleaning and Maintenance:Regularly clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and tools.
   Promptly and thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
   Maintain cleanliness in storage areas, including refrigerators and the pantry.
   
3. Stock Management:Help organize and stock kitchen supplies and ingredients.
   Monitor inventory levels and inform the kitchen manager of any shortages or expired items.
   
4. Support Kitchen Operations:Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes during service times.
   Help keep kitchen workstations organized and clean.
   Perform additional tasks as required by kitchen staff or management.
   
5. Health and Safety Compliance:Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines in the kitchen.
   Ensure proper handling and storage of food to prevent contamination.
   Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager immediately.
   

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Skills:Basic understanding of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
  Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing, lifting, and moving items.
