The position directly reports to our Shareholders.
Job Overview:
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the recruitment firm, lead and mentor a team of recruiters, and implement effective strategies for client acquisition, retention, and talent placement. This leadership role requires strong business acumen, the ability to manage resources efficiently, and a passion for driving results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire the recruitment team to achieve business goals. Provide guidance, coaching, and support for recruiters to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, including market expansion, client relationship management, and talent acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand their hiring needs, offer tailored recruitment solutions, and ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm, ensuring that recruitment processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets. Track revenue and expenses, and work to maximize profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities, both within existing accounts and through new market segments. Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of recruitment efforts. Ensure team goals align with overall company objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, talent market changes, and competitor activities. Use insights to refine recruitment strategies and stay competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
- Degree in any discipline
- CEI – KAH is required for this position
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in recruitment or staffing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team, driving business growth, and meeting financial targets in a recruitment or staffing firm.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, talent acquisition, and market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
