Job Description

The multidisciplinary team of researchers in health systems (health services and policy researchers, data scientists, social scientists, and others), and administrators working in CRiHSP will provide an exciting and dynamic place in which people of diverse backgrounds collaborate towards the common goal of achieving excellence in Health Systems Research. The team will further benefit from a significant expansion in related fields and collaborations with the Department of family Medicine at the National University Health System (NUHS), the new Centre for Sustainable Medicine (CoSM) and the Centre for Behavioural and Implementation Sciences Interventions (BISI) at the School of Medicine and the Saw See Hock School of Public Health.

NUS offers highly competitive remuneration packages. Purpose of the post

CRiHSP is hiring a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher. The successful candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise in health services and policy research and evaluation combined with experience translating science and evidence into real-world change. They will make a significant contribution to setting up and developing the centre at this crucial stage in relation to its research, training, evaluation and engagement areas of activity. The successful candidate will report to the CRiHSP Director of Research. Main Duties and Responsibilities

The responsibilities include:

• Establishing an independent research programme as aligned with CRiHSP priorities by securing external funding;

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, you are responsible to support the day-to-day operations of the Care and Call Centre (CareHub) to meet CareHub’s service standards, key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the CareHub team including Call Centre Officers (CCOs) who are helming CareHub, to draft, develop and implement requirements (including IT systems) and collaborative workflows and SOPs to bring plans into reality dovetailed to implementation timeline, organisation’s strategies, priorities and national’s directives. You will be responsible to support the smooth operations and administration of CareHub. Your exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and ability to handle complex tasks will be instrumental in ensuring operation success. You will be instrumental in supporting the monitoring of CareHub’s key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that CareHub’s service standards are met to deliver a positive customer experience for residents and community partners who reach in to CareHub for support to age well in the community.

Reporting to Centre-IC, Medical Technologist (MT) is responsible for the daily operations and administration of laboratory to ensure compliance to regulations and accreditation standards. Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations of the laboratory
• Perform all procedures in accordance with laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Perform phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram (ECG) and spirometry in an accurate, efficient and professional way.
• Perform Point of Care Testing (e.g. Prothrombin Time, glucose) and clinical laboratory tests such as urinalysis (e.g. Urine FEME, dipstick, pregnancy), haematology (e.g. full blood count, peripheral blood film, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, prothrombin time), biochemistry (e.g. HbA1c, neonate bilirubin), microscopy examination (e.g. fungal smear, high vaginal swab) independently.
• Ensure specimen identification, processing and storage of test specimens are in consistent with good laboratory practices
