Major Duties and Responsibilities

The Manager, Corporate Planning will provide secretariat support to CEO and C-Suites in organising and managing Senior Management Meetings, Strategic Retreats and Events. He/She will contribute to the design and implementation of strategic planning and work planning processes for the Organisation. He/She will play an important role in cascading Key Result Areas and Key Performance Indicators across departments in alignment to our Strategic Priorities and Performance Management Framework. Job description:

Project Management

• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Manage risks, issues, and changes to project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Communicate project status, progress, and updates to stakeholders.

Team Management

• Lead and motivate delivery teams to ensure high performance and quality standards.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively across multiple projects.
• Conduct regular team meetings, provide coaching and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Understand client requirements and ensure they are met or exceeded.
• Manage client expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Address any client concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Ensure that delivery processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Financial Management

• Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness of delivery operations.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate billing and invoicing.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards.
• Implement quality control processes and methodologies.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of delivery processes and outcomes.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and present regular status reports, performance metrics, and project documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a delivery management or project management role.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Trello).
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder relationships.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification.
• Experience in a specific industry (e.g., IT, Finance, Healthcare).
• Experience with cloud-based platforms, software development, or digital transformation projects.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
