Job Description

We are looking for a Health Coach to be responsible for evaluating and improving clients' health and wellness. The responsibilities include assessing clients' health, coaching clients on how to improve their health, and developing health care plans.

To be successful as a Health Coach, the candidate should have an optimistic disposition, good conflict resolution skills, and possess the ability to communicate effectively. Ultimately, the candidate should be committed to improving the health of clients, exhibit good team working skills, and have self-confidence and as an added advantage:

• Has knowledge of diagnosis and management of sleep disorders, with a focus on Obstructive Sleep Apnea Syndrome.
• Understands communication techniques for teaching and the principles of learning to enhance education for patients, families, and the community.
• Understands what to look for and how to analyze the results of the various tests and tools used to diagnosis, evaluate, and monitor sleep disorders.
• Knows how to assess patient compliance and comfort with treatment in order to improve clinical outcomes.

Qualifications:

• NITEC or Diploma

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations and evaluations of individuals
• Providing guidelines to reduce or eliminate unhealthy behaviors
• Developing and conducting seminars for clients and other employees
• Developing health care plans tailored for each client's needs
• Working with other health care providers
• Supporting clients in their recovery or rehabilitation
• Follow physician-partners’ instructions and guidelines related to the administration of sleep aids
• Explain the use of sleep aids and orient the patient for the sleep aids objectives
• Document routine observations of patients’ receptiveness towards the use of the sleep aids in order to facilitate patient’s compliance to the treatment
• Demonstrate adherence to cleaning and disinfection procedures for sleep aids
• Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation
• Respond to clients procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate information
• Assist with patient education

Requirements:

• Training in Coaching, Fitness, or Nutrition
• Previous experience working with healthcare clients are preferred
• Knowledge of good health practices
• Must be up-to-date with the latest health care developments

Fitness Instructor

• Salary Package: Basic + Commission (Avg S$3,000- 10,000+)
• Working days: 5 / 6 days rotating shift from 6am- 11pm (8 -9 hours per shift)

Job scope:

• To create an engaging atmosphere where all members can achieve their personal fitness goals, in addition to cleaning and maintaining the equipment and fitness facilities.
• Achieve desired Personal Training Sales and Conducted results as agreed during monthly Goal Setting session with your Fitness Manager.
• Constant communication with the Fitness Manager on all aspects of the fitness department related to the Gym Floor.
• Participate in monthly department meeting to keep yourself well-informed, to solve problems, and to set goals.
• Daily interface with members of the Fitness Team.
• Actively promote all fitness programs, educational programs, activities, sales promotion etc in the club in order to establish regular usage by members.
• Maintain and check all equipment in good order, report any equipment malfunctions or damage immediately to the Fitness Manager or Front of House Manager.
• Contact newly-joined members with first four weeks for induction session appointment (driven by the Fitness Manager).
• On-floor coverage at all times (strength, free-weight & cardio areas) by enforcing correct technique in the execution of all movements and exercises.
• Ensure monthly KPIs of Personal Training Sales and Conducted are met.

Requirements:

• Recognised Personal Training qualification / diploma in sport science.
• Prior personal training work experience is an added advantage.
• Experienced in encouraging regular participation of exercise programs.
