We are looking for a highly motivated individual to coordinate data collection and support research operations under the Growing Up in Singapore Towards healthy Outcomes (GUSTO) birth cohort study. The Research Associate will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigators and study team members to ensure the successful completion of GUSTO projects on time. The RA’s principal role will be to work in general practices such as data collection, data entry and analysis and drafting of publications and reports.

• Collaborate with external advisors (e.g., legal counsel, financial advisor) and internal EDPR teams (e.g., operations, wind, tax) for NBO and BO stages of execution of M&A transactions.
• Prepare investment memoranda and high quality presentations to assist group decision-making bodies in global investment decisions.
• Participate in strategic analysis projects for the group (namely portfolio analysis and business planning).
• Analyse greenfield projects in terms of economic risk and strategic options and provide reports of findings.
• Mentor junior team members and take responsibility of the quality of their deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
• At least 10 years in core valuation, M&A, corporate finance or investment analysis. Big4, Investment Banking or Private Equity background is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of valuation (FCFF and FCFE), financing, accounting, and strategic analysis.
• M&A due diligence and deal negotiation (SPA, SHA, JDA, JV) experience required. Deal execution experience within APAC region countries is strongly desired.
• Experience in the Energy or Infrastructure sector, preferably in renewables, is required.
• Strong teamwork skills. Ability to manage empathetically interdepartmental relations within APAC regions and local Headquarters.
• Strong time-management skills & ability to work well under pressure and take on responsibility.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate to join our Client Activation team. This role is located in Singapore - Hybrid.

The Transition Management Group (TMG) manages the coordination of client account opening documentation, technical implementation / reporting, and hand-off to client coverage teams. From inception to go-live, TMG supports the Liquidity Services, Segregation and Securities Finance business – focusing on its clients to meet agreed deliverables, along with championing the client experience.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Under minimal direction, onboards clients into the system, opens and closes accounts and handles transitions and conversions to the system.
• Serves as an advisor to clients as they onboard/transition/convert to/from organization products and solutions.
• Obtains and reviews the appropriate documentation and reference data and ensures regulatory aspects of AML and KYC are completed prior to opening accounts.
• Ensures all SLAs are met. Prepares clients for entering new accounts by explaining and articulating the level of documentation required, regulations, complexities in the market and market expectations.
• Works directly with clients to open new accounts once due diligence on KYC and AML has been completed and works with client and internal parties around asset events.
