Responsibilities:

• Lead on project sourcing activities (identification, assessment and contracting) in the region and support existing projects with respect to the carbon market.
• Ensure that sourcing flows and processes (including documentation and interaction with other teams) are in line with the company guidelines.
• Understand client needs, gather market intelligence and identify industry trends.
• Manage client’s portfolio across the region
• Manage budgeting and revenue of assigned region.

Job Description

• The Project Manager will be supporting Director with work across the Asia Clean Energy Summit, Asia Carbon Summit, digital and regional events with responsibility to deliver all aspects of conference across the programme lifecycle.
• Mainly assisting in Conference event from project planning to deliver all aspects of conference across the programme lifecycle.
• No project engineering requires as company has conference & exhibition agency to assist in the events.
• The manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets and creating and maintaining relationships within the industry.
• Ensuring in coordination of successful execution of projects assigned within time limits.
• Oversee project execution and monitoring of project budget along with other administration required.
• Liaise and coordinate with related parties on project progression.
• In-depth industry research and development to outline a commercially successful conference programme.
• Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant market stakeholders
• Researching and providing strategic and market information to marketing and sales functions in terms of sector and geographic markets including value propositions, competitive events analysis and market mapping information
• Speaker identification and acquisition of both technical and strategic (including csuite) industry influencers and business leaders.
• Conducting in-depth telephone, face to face and desktop research with potential attendees, speakers and sponsors in the target market to develop commercially viable agendas and relevant formats to drive participant ROI.
• Continued speaker engagement to ensure successful onsite delivery.
• Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, directs, supervises, and coordinates the continuous, efficient, and safe operation and maintenance of biohazardous waste incineration facilities and related equipment.
• Inspects plant machinery and equipment which may require climbing ladders, stairs and catwalks, exposure to large machinery and confined spaces; inspects ongoing activities for safety and environmental compliance and for adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Reviews and interprets key operating data and makes appropriate changes in procedures to ensure continuous and efficient operations and maintenance.
• Develop and direct the scheduling of day-to-day activities pertaining to incineration facilities to ensure efficient and effective operation, including shift roster, attendance, toolbox safety briefing, and maintenance schedule.
• Ensure the implementation of preventive maintenance procedures and training programs such that technicians and plant operators are qualified to troubleshoot and maintain equipment and that skill level is continually improving.
• Develops plans for staffing, technical training, and continuous operation of incineration facilities to meet increased demands.
• Maintain and update Safe Work Procedure, Risk Assessment, Workplace Health & Safety standards, and Fire Safety provisions.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations pertaining to management of biohazardous waste including relevant Singapore Standards and Code of Practice.
• Ensure incidents, accidents and close calls are reported and notified in line with the company’s procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of waste storage areas and work sites to identify and address potential safety hazards.
• Plan and participate in the company’s emergency response activities including risk mitigation measures associated with fire safety and hazardous materials incidents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all waste incineration activities, including waste inventories, waste disposal manifests, and internal as well as regulatory reports.
• Interfaces with customers and regulators during plant audits, inspections, etc.
• Any other operational duties that are deemed necessary.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
• Minimum 10 years work experience in hazardous waste industry or large utility / industrial plant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of waste management regulations and fire safety provisions.
• Well verse in MS Office Applications.
