Job Summary:
The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for leading and overseeing all human resource functions within the organization in Asia Pacific. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance. The VP of HR serves as a strategic business partner to the executive team, providing HR expertise and solutions to support the company's overall objectives, and work with APAC team to build a high performance and engaging culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective human resource strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent to enable LEAP 28 and APA business plan.
- Drive the culture change and organizational effectiveness; oversee the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning & development, and offboarding.
- Lead HR team and ensure efficient and effective delivery of HR services across the organization
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on people-related matters and organizational effectiveness
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and make data-driven recommendations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align HR initiatives with the company's business goals
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging HR trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies and programs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to align HR with overall organizational objectives
- Proficient in HR data analysis and using HR information systems
- Certification as a SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred
