The successful candidate will manage and oversee execution of all accounting functions, management accounts compilation on monthly and yearly basis, support with the audit process, tax matters, legal and compliance filing and reporting requirements, as well as corporate work relating to and supporting the business.

Scope of Work and Responsibility

1. Manage and oversee execution of all accounting functions, full set of accounts.
2. Timely preparation of accounting records including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet for month end and year end closing
3. Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and balance sheet analysis.
4. Prepare computation and submit/ filing of all company taxes, including identification of tax issues and solution thereof to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and authorities and at the same time to meet the financial requires of the Company.
5. Preparation of reports and accounts for audit and tax filing including preparation of replies for tax and audit queries
6. Liaise with internal and external service providers (auditors, tax agents, corporate secretary etc.), ensure qualified audit opinion and implement audit recommendation, serve as primary liaison with tax and audit advisors.
7. Provide ad-hoc support to management and special project as assigned.

Qualifications

• Hold a good University Accounting Degree or relevant Professional Qualification as ACCA or CPA.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and reporting processes, with at least 8 years of working experience in handling full set accounting in a medium organization.
• Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Corporate Tax statutory requirement.
• Proficient in Microsoft office especially MS Excel; familiarity with accounting system will be advantageous
• Well organized, meticulous, analytical thinking, fast leaner and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Multitasking and able to handle pressures and tight deadlines.
