Job Summary:
The intern of 6 months is largely expected to work in an office environment from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and may also be required to travel out of the office for meetings. On occasions, the jobholder may need to work outside official hours on weekends to support the running of events.
Learning Objectives & Outcomes
- To communicate, liaise and manage internal and external stakeholders comfortably;
- To draft, post and share HR announcements on SharePoint to all staff in Yayasan MENDAKI (MENDAKI);
- To provide administrative and logistical support for all HR organised events in MENDAKI;
- To digitalise all remaining hard copies of staff’s P-Files by scanning them and saving the digital copies in the staff’s P-Files on One Drive;
- To attend to staff’s queries on HR related matters and to escalate the queries to the SEO, HR when needed;
- To familiarise with the hiring processes, including the coordination with the candidates and schedule interviews; the onboarding process and resignation process;
- To coordinate with vendor(s) and/or service provider(s) for any HR related activities in MENDAKI;
- To work with the Learning & Development team to collate the organisation’s training needs, update and maintain the training directory and learning records of staff;
- To work with the Learning & Development team to source for vendor(s) and/or training provider(s) for the organisation’s training programmes and to submit recommendations to the Assistant Director, Human Resource;
- To work with the Learning & Development team to collate survey findings from employee engagement surveys and coordinate the logistics for engagement sessions.
- To call for nominations for the monthly Best Employee Award (BEM), collate the nominations received for the SEO to present to the Management team for deliberations.
Job Requirements:
- Students pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.
- Able to engage with volunteers and partners.
- Resourceful and able to multi-task.
- Meticulous and detail-oriented.
