Job Purpose

The Executive - Human Resources is a strategic partner assigned to the client groups in MWS, providing HR consulting, advice and guide to influence talent decisions, adding value to the Centre’s business operations.

As the main point of contact between HR Department and the client groups, this role aligns interests among various stakeholders to promote a cooperative and collaborative work environment. He/she adopts a service excellence mindset and is passionate about addressing centre-specific people issues, needs and challenges.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Business Admin/HR or equivalent
• 3 to 6 years of relevant HR experience
• Work experience in Community Healthcare sector will be ad advantage
• Familiar with Singapore Employment Act
• Good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and professional integrity
• Able to multi-task and work independently as well as in a team
• Takes initiative, proactive and positive
• IT savvy; able to work on the cloud and familiar with MS Office suite

Reporting to Head of HR, the Executive support the HR functions of DPH in the areas of recruitment and employee engagement.

Job Description

• Assist in the talent acquisition process by updating job descriptions, posting vacancies online, scheduling interviews, and conducting background/reference checks.
• Prepare offer letters, coordinate new-employee onboarding programs, and announce new hires.
• Manage work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and related administrative tasks.
• Engage with government authorities for relevant funding, grants, and support initiatives.
• Compile recruitment reports and statistics.
• Address employees’ queries on various HR-related matters.
• Participate in statutory and ad-hoc surveys.
• Assist with HR-related audits.
• Contribute to employee engagement activities.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).

We are looking for an independent experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team.

Key responsibilities:

Recruitment:

• manage onboarding process, confirmation and orientation

Compensation & Benefits:

• update & maintain Leave Record
• check and prepare staff claim
• liaise with Government agencies on relevant funding, applications and claims
• submit survey required by MOM or by any ministry requirement Management of work-related allowances
• assist in monthly payroll
• assist in monthly journals
• support annual and ad-hoc internal/ external payroll audit.

Employee Engagement:

• organize, schedule and execute HR Engagement activities

Admin:

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in payroll will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of the Singapore Employment Act preferred

Senior HR Executive to have a broad knowledge of human resources functions. He/She is expected to be familiar with labor law and required to undertake a wide range of HR function from hiring to onboarding, organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and compensation etc

He/She will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And he/she also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics together with the MY Operations Team

• Administer compensation and benefit plans executed by MY Operations Team
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct SG office employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
