Role Description

As a Valuations Analyst Intern, you will be involved in one of the most important steps in renting and selling a property in Singapore — coming up with the pricing. Good pricing is a deciding factor for clients to choose whether to work with Propseller and for our chance to rent or sell their properties at the highest price.

Using our own methodology, you will gather information and data from multiple sources, put them in a professional and presentable format, and discuss the pricing with our Inventory Managers. These prices will be relied upon by our Real Estate Consultants and potential clients.

This internship opportunity will provide you with unique exposure to valuation analyses and prices of various types of residential properties in Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collect relevant property information and data from various sources and ensure data accuracy in our valuation reports;
• Ensure professionalism in our valuation reports through quality data and formatting;
• Conduct research and prepare sales materials such as slide decks for the outside sales team;
• Work closely with the Portfolio Managers to analyse large amounts of data and multiple factors to arrive at property prices for various types of residential properties in Singapore;
• Actively propose and implement new processes to improve workflow efficiency;
• Support ad-hoc tasks and projects from time to time.

Requirements

• Student currently enrolled in 2nd to 4th year of university studies;

Key Responsibilities:

1. Functional specification

· Responsible to analyse and define detailed functional specifications based on the functional and non-functional requirements document

· Collaborate with Functional Business Analyst to clarify functional and non-functional requirements

· Define and ensure traceability from functional specifications to business requirements

2. Technical Design

· Responsible to create technical design

· Ensure technical design adheres to architectural roadmap, Development practices, and security requirements

· In case of vendor implementation: Ensure vendor, resources create technical design document

· Collaborate with developers and infrastructure teams to clarify functional specification and technical design during build, test and deployment phase

· Collaborate with Production Support to establish IToperations procedures and document as part of Tech Design

3. Testing & Scope Management

· Clarify test findings escalated by Test Manager and classify the findings accordingly (either as a defect or change request)

Role: Production Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide 24x7 production support onsite / offsite.

· Investigate production issues, determine production defect severity and provide workaround to user if feasible to move business forward

· Manage and respond to users on timely manner.

· Log incident ticket for production issues and user queries

· Provide necessary information needed for further investigation to next level support (L3) to proceed with fix

· Prioritize defects and plan for production release based on defect criticality or align with quarterly release

· Follow up on defect and incident closure and meet incident closure KPI

· Share production defect support learning with QA team and development team to improve application quality and minimize future defects

· Make sure system availability as per respective agreed SLA

· Support EOD batch run

· Perform annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for supported applications

· Provide support to System Engineers on server level patches / upgrade as and when applicable

· Ensure proper knowledge transfer (KT) from project / development team before enhancement release
