Key responsibilities for Operation Manager:

1. Overseeing Daily Operations: Ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the shop, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.

2. Managing Inventory: Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels to prevent stockouts or wastage, while also ensuring all products are fresh and in good quality.

3. Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.

4. Quality Control: Upholding high standards of quality in food preparation, presentation, and service to meet customer expectations and health regulations.

5. Budgeting and Cost Control: Managing finances effectively, controlling costs, and maximizing revenue to ensure profitability.

7. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed to create a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure team briefings are carried out before each service period
• Implement and ensure that Food Safety and Hygiene standards are met at all times
• Ensure that all food is prepared according to quality, taste and hygiene guidelines established by the Company
• Train and develop the team to deliver the food to a high standard
• Ensure readiness for service and that the pace is set for peak times
• Ensure that all food is presented for service in a timely manner and in correct sequence
• Deal with any customer returns of food in a timely manner
• Check and sign for all deliveries
• Ensure that outlet is stocked with adequate levels of inventory
• Participate in monthly physical stock take of the Outlet, including but not limited to plates, bowls and crockery

• Ensure that the Kitchen Assistants and Kitchen Crew are able to handle their duties properly and well groomed, properly attired and efficient.

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the café/restaurant's products and services.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns, including online and offline initiatives, seasonal promotions, and new product launches.
• Manage the café/restaurant's social media platforms, creating engaging content, responding to customer inquiries, and monitoring performance analytics.
• Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
• Collaborate with the operations team to plan and promote events, menu updates, and special dining experiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with local influencers, media outlets, and community partners to enhance brand visibility.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitors to refine marketing strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Marketing Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the F&B industry.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Canva, Mailchimp, and social media management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of current F&B industry trends and customer preferences.

Responsibilities

· Supervise all aspects of Front Office operations and assist with all Reception tasks including check-ins and check-outs when required.

· To welcome and bid farewell to all VIP guests.

· To develop and maintain relationship with house guests and provide personalized service whenever possible.

· Coordinate and work closely with Housekeeping and Facilities department to ensure on the overall quality of guest experience.

· Address all guests’ feedback and concerns professionally and providing service recovery when required.

· Record all guests’ feedback into the Duty Manager’s Log for Management and all departments attention or follow up if required.

· Make sound decisions to handle any operational challenges that may arise in the absence of the Management.

· Ensure that arrival rooms are assigned accordingly and monitor room inventory closely to maximize revenue.

· Be familiar with all Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and responsible for conducting training for Front Office team.

· Ensure that all Finance related procedures and policies are adhered to.

· Form part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and be familiar with all emergency procedures.

· Conduct regular patrols on hotel premises and report any security concerns, defects or issues with cleanliness in the public area / guest corridors to the relevant departments.

· Assume other responsibilities as designated by Front Office Manager.

Requirements

· Candidates should ideally be currently holding a Supervisory role for at least 1 year.

· Service-oriented and take pride in delivering exceptional guest service.

· Flexible to perform rotating shifts, including overnight shifts and on Weekends/Public Holidays.
