Job Description

• Position Title: Maintenance Technician
• Working Location: Tanjong Penjuru (Company transport provided at Buona Vista MRT/ Jurong East MRT)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5.15pm
• Salary Package: Up to $4,200 + Shift Allowance + Transport Allowance + AWS + Variable Bonus + Insurance
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintenance of plant equipment, building utilities, labs, DI station, and WWTP.
• Perform hands-on repair work on various equipment, including centrifugal, lobe, and air diaphragm pumps, tank control systems with agitators, and drum filling machines.
• Manage mechanical and electrical control panel tasks.
• Handle maintenance work orders within the SAP system.
• Preferably experienced in performing preventive maintenance on plant static and rotating equipment, as well as corrective maintenance and modification work.
• Contribute improvement ideas and support SQCDP and 5S initiatives.
• Supervise contractors for repair and project work, ensuring standards are met.

• At least NITEC in Electrical/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of related working experience in electrical wiring troubleshooting and mechanical repairs in a chemical plant.
• Able to perform hands-on repair work.
• Able to understand mechanical hydraulic machine concept/ electrical wiring diagram.
• Prior working experience in waste treatment/ DI plant operation and milling machine would be a plus.
• Able to standby for cases of emergency calls or OT for weekends (if required)

Assist ROV team

- Hydraulic/Mechanical/Electrical support (Setting up, troubleshooting, repairs etc)

- Support R&D activities to develop, fabricate and build/upgrade new/existing ROVs

- Support data recording activities on jobs

- System launch and recovery

- Housekeeping

- Ability to work outdoor, on-board ships, possess a level of physical fitness appropriate to the job requirements, and able to work based on operations schedules.

- To assist with ROV operations as instructed and in accordance with approved procedures and QHSE policies.

- Possess Class 3 driving license will be an advantage
