Attend the project meeting if required. Day-to-day site operation to ensure works are constructed as per project & safety requirement. Identify the soil/rock & record the field log. Take the soil sample for lab test. Supervise site works. Liaise with clients on site works / projects. Plan and arrange the Logistics

This role is based in Sungei Kadut Loop, Singapore.

Job Duties:

• Schedule the testing programmes according to priority
• Execute the soil testing works to determine the physical and mechanical of the soil samples: Supervise the technicians to prepare the correct samples for soil testing (e.g., check the assignment and UD soil samples)
• Carry out extrusion of the soil samples
• Liaise with clients for samples that are unable to meet their requirements for their decision-making
• Carry out the soil tests according to BS standards or standards specified by clien and submit the approved soil testing reports to clients

Job Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering or geology, certificate in Site Investigation for Supervisors (BCA) is an advantage with 2 years’ relevant experience in major infrastructure projects
• SEC(K) Higher skill will be an advantage
• Physically fit and able to withstand the challenging working conditions
• Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
• Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills

The ideal candidate will support our Geotechnical Lab testing team by ensuring smooth processing and accuracy of lab data. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in Excel.

• Provide essential support to the Geotechnical Lab testing team in conducting and organizing testing activities.
• Accurately process and analyze lab testing data, ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
• Assist engineers in compiling and preparing detailed lab reports based on testing outcomes.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with lab team members, both verbally and in written English, to ensure accurate data handling and reporting.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry and analysis functions.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Prior experience in a Geotechnical laboratory setting or data processing is a plus.

Job Scope

• Ensure compliance to the manufacturing process by following the official work instruction or other related documents. In process checking, adjustment and set-up
• Knowledge in Machine assembly, Structural assembly, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components assembly

As a member of the operations team, the Engineer position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

Job Duties:

• Perform Calibration and Measurement of Dimension gauges and instruments as per WI using CMM, reference master, tester etc (on-site and in-house) with report and necessary administrative work
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment as schedule and assigned
• Ensure proper delivery of service to customer(s)
• Any other duties as assigned by Manager/ Section Head/ Senior staff

Job Requirements:

• MInimum ITE in Aerospace / Precision or Mechanical Engineering
• 1 year or more experience in Calibration and Measurement of Dimension with knowledge on dimension instrument calibration and CMM measurement is preferred
