Working Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary range: $4500 - $5000

Job Description

• To handle and calculate the quantity and costing of the different tender assignment. Technical review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and make sure that all requirements are complied.
• Familiar and able to understand general contracts and various documents.
• Able to provide budget cost or estimates as per instruction.
• Liaise with suppliers for their products and services presentation.
• Able to design and look for solution regarding any technical problems during tender.
• Able to communicate with other Departments in dealing with various documents and issues.
• Coordinate with the supplier/contractor regarding follow up on bills and quantities.
• To evaluate and check on market unit rates monthly /quarterly for material and labour cost.
• To handover all tender document and costing to project team once the tender is awarded.
• To attend site show round for those tender that we are interested.
• To reply tender clarification, preparation for tender interview and presentation.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Work as Quantity Surveyor for at least 5 to 8 years’ experience
• Experience in an M&E sub-contractor environment will be preferred.

Senior Recruitment Consultant

• Drafting of tender documents, tender evaluation and providing recommendations to clients
• Liaise and coordinate with Contractors, Clients, Facilities Management team, other Consultants involved in the upgrading/A&A projects etc.
• Verify and certify claims submitted by Contractors and prepare final accounts
• Verify variation order claims submitted by Contractors
• Produce quantity measurements, bills of quantities, cost estimates and sourcing for quotations when required
• Interpret drawings and specifications to perform quantity take-off
• Review and implement contract administration procedures and policies
• Provide support to the bidding team to ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bids
• Station on-site to oversee day-to-day planning, management and operations of facilities management works and services.
• Support staff to support the maintenance and project works function.
• Work with Project Manager to check and verify all-star rate items submitted by term contractor or appointed contractor.
• Work with Project Manager to check on any star rate submission by contractors against the market norm for the final bill of quantities.
• Provide additional services for consultancy services in the area of investigation, preliminary design, and estimates; detailed design; tender documents preparation; evaluation of tenders; and supervision and contract administration of the works.

Requirements & Attributes:

• Degree / Diploma in Building / Project and Facilities Management / Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management
• Able to work independently in fast-paced environment
• Good communication and writing skills
