Key Responsibilities
- Support internal stakeholders on the drafting, review and negotiations on a broad range of contracts, such as vendor engagements, NDAs, software licensing agreements, and other corporate and commercial activities.
- Provide legal advice to the internal stakeholders on various matters, such as contractual rights, obligations, interpretation of terms and litigation matters.
- Liaising with external legal counsel when required.
- Manage the execution of legal agreement and documents of the Company.
- Support the preliminary business projects, as required from time to time, from the point of view of legal support (mainly contract review and drafting of relevant documents).
- Research the latest developments in legal matters and keep the management updated.
- Assist with any legal due diligence or compliance projects when necessary.
- Maintenance of standard agreements and templates.
- Liaising with the corporate secretarial service provider and overseeing the corporate secretarial matter.
- Manage the administration of the contract management platform and organization of the shared folders for legal and corporate secretarial related matters.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university.
- Candidate must have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with both litigation and in-house experience.
- Candidate must possess the following skills:
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented: comfortable working independently and possesses a “can-do” attitude.
- Strong organizational skills: able to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent Communication skills: able to communicate across departments and work with people at all levels throughout the Company.
- Confidentiality: able to maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
