You will be responsible for providing in-house legal advice to support key functions, projects and activities of the Company and its Subsidiaries, you will be arranging, liaising and managing external lawyers who provide legal advice or representation to the Group in areas of special expertise or in litigation, and corporate secretarial services provider.

We are helping our client- a leading sportswear brand known for its high-quality athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories, seeking a skilled and experienced Legal Manager to join a dynamic team in Southeast Asia. This role offers the opportunity to provide legal support across a range of commercial, operational, and business expansion matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary legal advisor to the Southeast Asia leadership team, working closely with the Group’s legal headquarters.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage various commercial agreements, including leases, distribution agreements, partnerships, e-commerce, and marketing contracts.
• Advise on legal aspects of campaigns, events, and communications.
• Develop, update, and optimize contract templates and legal documents.
• Contribute to legal knowledge management and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal disputes.
• Monitor and assess new regulations, providing advice on legal risks and commercial solutions.
• Provide training on legal matters to internal teams.
• Manage legal budget and external counsel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a law firm or in-house, ideally within the retail, sports, or apparel industry.
• Expertise in retail, commercial contracts, real estate, data privacy, and employment law.
• Proficiency in English (Mandarin is highly preferred).
