Job Summary:
The Scientific Officer conducts surveillance and outbreak investigations, designs and supervises experiments, and leads projects related to public health. Specific:

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Microbiology, Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field (preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Regularly inspect facilities, plants, and equipment to identify and mitigate risks.
• Oversee the validity of operational licenses, approvals, and equipment certifications.
• Conduct routine compliance checks, risk assessments, investigative processes, and produce comprehensive reports.
• Maintain and provide access to all relevant GHS requirements and Safety Data Sheets.
• Design and schedule emergency and safety protocols training.

• Must be a Registered Safety Officer with MOM.
• Possession of FSM qualification recognized by SCDF preferred.
