Purpose of the role:

• Ensure customer satisfaction in service provisioning (transmission, routers, switches) and quality of service.
• Manage all monitoring aspects of network deployments.
• Coordinate all post-sales matters triggered by both internal and external customers.

Major Responsibilities:

• Plan, project manage, and implement network engineering projects.
• Install and configure DWDM, switches, routers, and firewalls within core and access networks.
• Proactively monitor core production network infrastructure and support systems to ensure continuous service delivery and optimal network performance.
• Propose operational improvements to management involving workflow optimization.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation for proper operations.
• Ensure operational processes and procedures are ITSM compliant.
• Ensure smooth internal workflows and proper escalation procedures.
• Manage the lifecycle of existing network equipment, including capacity planning, network improvement, preventive maintenance, migration, and decommissioning.
• Follow change request processes to ensure high customer service uptime.
• Draft and prepare Incident and Outage Reports in a timely manner.
• Submit all reports, such as Monthly Reports, RFOs, and Incident Reports, promptly.
• Provide full support to NOC & engineers and ensure engineering meets all deliverables and SLA targets.
• Manage IP addresses (IPv4 & IPv6).
• Support Product & Sales workgroups on all new network planning.

Competency/ Technical Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent applicable experience required.
• Minimum 5 years working experience in related field
• Strong analytical; skills and has a flair for dealing with technical and operational problems.
• Good interpersonal skills and fluent in communication.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Enthusiasm and drive to creatively evolve the network using unconventional methods.
• Possess experience in ISP environment will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within teams required.
• Ability to work off working hour whenever necessary.

Job Description

1. Deploys Engineering decision-making to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical equipment breakdowns

2. Identify and address potential issues before they escalate to prevent unplanned downtime.

3. Achieving 0 LTIF target through ensuring safety procedures are followed through SOP, TRA, employees wearing full PPE during work, developing safety procedures

4. To support the section in terms of external resources/vendor management

5. To drive safety, cost, energy and reliability improvement projects in MSP through application of Mechanical integrity and quality assurance

6. Recommend and implement modifications or upgrades to enhance machinery reliability.

7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.

8. Perform root cause analysis and work towards resolutions

REPORTING STRUCTURE

The MLOps Engineer will report to the Senior AI Solutions Architect of LawNet Technology Services (LTS).

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced MLOps Engineer specializing in large language models at LawNet Technology Services. You will be at the forefront of operationalizing and scaling our AI capabilities. This role demands a unique blend of skills in machine learning, software engineering, and cloud technologies to efficiently deploy, monitor, and manage our large language models in production. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our AI services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement robust MLOps pipelines tailored for large language models, ensuring seamless transition from development to production.
• Work closely with data scientists and AI researchers to automate and optimize the model training, fine-tuning, inference and evaluation processes for our large language models on cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure the LLM can be seamlessly integrated with the serving infrastructure managed by the software engineering team.
• Explore and implement techniques for continuous learning of the LLM as new user data becomes available.
• Develop and implement strategies for monitoring model performance (accuracy, latency, fairness) in production.
• Set up alerts and dashboards to proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues with the LLM.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in MLOps tools and methodologies.
• Implement monitoring and logging systems to track model performance, resource utilization, and operational health, enabling proactive maintenance and optimization.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Solid experience in MLOps, DevOps, or software engineering, with a specific focus on machine learning and large language models.
• Strong experience in building and managing machine learning pipelines.
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and services related to machine learning and large-scale computing.
• Strong background in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), as well as infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Demonstrated ability in programming with Python and experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
