• Test cloud-based applications hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalability and performance requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Experience in Manual Testing: Proven experience in manual testing across web, mobile (iOS/Android), and desktop (React Electron) applications.
• GCP Expertise: Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and testing cloud-based applications.
• Mobile Testing: Experience in testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Desktop Testing: Experience with desktop applications, particularly React Electron.
• Test Management Tools: Proficiency with QASE or similar test management platforms for documenting and managing test cases.
• Continuous Integration Tools: Hands-on experience with CircleCI or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex systems, debug issues, and provide detailed reports.
• Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to testing to ensure all edge cases are covered.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Be aligned and act in accordance to SMRT's Vision, Mission, Service Standard and Core Values.

2. Ensure good understanding, knowledge and skills needed for all maintenance activities and provide support for staff training.

3. Lead and supervise a team of Technical Officer(s) to perform preventive, corrective, overhaul, troubleshooting, engineering analysis, investigation or any assigned maintenance activities on all rolling stocks, depot and workshop equipment.

4. Assist to plan and coordinate staff deployment and shift roster to optimise resources utilisation.

5. Verify and ensure all tasks executed by the team are in accordance to latest Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures, and to ensure personal and peers’ safety at all times.

6. Ensure spares, tools and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.

7. Perform train shunting activities and operate depot equipment, maintenance vehicles and maintenance equipment to support maintenance activities of the group.

8. Verify and ensure work records done by the team are updated factually, accurately and timely on Work Records Form and on the Maintenance Management System

9. Report immediately any abnormalities or practices observed that are not in accordance to Work Instructions, Quality, Maintenance, Operational and Safety Procedures.

10. Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve Productivity and Value of work performed.

11. Provide support to staff, contractors or any other personnel who are required to perform work on depot and all rolling stocks.

12. To support the group during incidents, accidents and emergencies.

13. Ensure excellent housekeeping are maintained within all work areas.

14. Maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.

15. Perform any other task as assigned.

What you will do:

• Provides sales support to the engineering /sales team. Conducts engineering design and processes and / or financial analysis during project development. Generates take-off plans and specifications. Develops and writes estimates or proposals. May call on potential customers as directed by sales managers.

How you will do it:

• Perform drafting, design and prepare engineering drawings (2D) and documentation as per customer’s/project requirements.
• Create electrical schematic, Design layout plans and detailed designs with AutoCAD software.
• Provide pre-sales support to Sales team, including proposal costing and attending technical clarifications
• meeting and/or presentation with customers
• Products sourcing from suppliers.
• Compilation and submission of all documentations as required as per the project requirements.
• Review customer’s technical comments and revise documentation and drawings.
• Visual Inspection and quality check on products/Systems.
• Prepare Functional Test Documents and Assist Project Operations Team on functional testing.
• Liaise and maintain good relationship with customers, subcontractors and suppliers

What we look for:

• Min. Diploma/Degree in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering
• More than 5 years’ experience in Marine Offshore Protection System with related experience.
• Good knowledge of NFPA/Marine Classification Rules & Regulations
• Familiar with Fire & Gas Detection, Vesda Systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Resourceful, results-oriented, excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen
• Able to work independently and deliver results for multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Willingness to learn new things.
• Basic knowledge OT systems, such as SCADA and DCS
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices, including risk management, threat modeling, and incident response
