• Incumbent is expected to perform daily work on own initiative and carry out assignments in accordance with DOD and Navy regulations. Situations involving unfamiliar problems not covered by instructions are referred to the supervisor for resolution.
• Typically employee uses routine instructions and work methods that are common to the trade and may be general in nature. Where available the incumbent will rely on blueprints, manufacturer's instructions, manuals, and maintenance specifications.
• May be required to possess a valid state driver license, as travel to other facilities may be required within the normal scope of duties. Applicants will be notified when this is a requirement for appointment.
• This position is subject to the possibility of workdays on weekends and holidays, as well as, rotating shifts, often consisting of other than normal duty hours. May be recalled to duty and/or required to work overtime, including on an emergency basis.

Education & Qualifications

• Technical certification
• Minimum two years of experience with demonstrated skill in two areas (Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Painting).
• Knowledge in the applicable combination of trades sufficient to perform the duties of the position.
• Basic knowledge of trade practices sufficient to complete tasks using common skills.
• Familiarity with safe use of common hand and powered tools.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain a valid driver's license is preferred but not mandatory.

Our client is from Oil and Gas industry, a local leading player. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician for the next phase of their business. They are located in West.

Duties:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks as directed, and update the CMMS database.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, plant piping, and structural support systems.
• Respond to and resolve equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Determine necessary materials, tools, and methods for safe maintenance tasks.
• Conduct machinery condition monitoring and field data collection with the production team.
• Ensure operational efficiency of all plant valves and mechanical components, including control and plant valve maintenance.
• Supervise in-house contractors and vendors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with the production team on mechanical system testing and troubleshooting.
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned.
• Perform valve line-up and LOTO for maintenance preparations.
• Participate in the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with assigned roles.

Requirements

• Nitec in Engineering related field.
• Min 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
• Experience in troubleshooting of mechanical/ machinery systems
