HOW DO TRAINEES ASSIST THE COMPANY

As an Events Manager Trainee, you play a crucial role in delivering seamless execution of events to meet and exceed client expectations.

• Event Execution Excellence: Work with experienced managers to execute flawless events by liaising with 3rd party partners, ensuring services are secured, managing pre-event client correspondence.
• Administrative Expertise: Develop organisational skills by preparing administrative documents for event day use, including but not limited to registration collation, printing guest name badges, creating holding slides, drafting emcee scripts, and minute-by-minute administrative programmes and more.
• Client Engagement: Interact directly with government sector clients and international VIPs, ensuring client expectations are not only met but exceeded through meticulous planning and execution.
• Skill Development: Gain hands-on experience that allows you to evolve from an assistant role to a competent and confident event manager, capable of quoting, managing, and executing professional events for the government sector.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Singapore citizenship currently residing in Singapore.
• Successfully completed a degree in 2023 or expected graduation in 2024, preferably in communications, marketing, project management, or hospitality.
• Fluent spoken and written English for effective communication with government sector clients and international VIPs.
• Exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with productivity tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, etc. to facilitate working in-person at the office, remotely from event venue or at home.
• Strong commitment and the ability to work independently and remotely when required

Introduction

Role Description

As part of our expansion, development and identifying talent and providing opportunities for new graduates to experience the role of Management Trainees in Special Education, learn how to execute successful intervention methods, and have the chance to learn from the professionals, we invite applicants to apply for a 6 months traineeship program. Upon completion of this program, selected trainees will be given an opportunity to sign a full-time contract with us. Potential candidates may also be offered supervisory position.

Trainees would be given training, opportunities to learn from our coaching staff, participate in research and development and be mentored for skills development with the ultimate objective for this staff to be groomed for supervisor and management position.

This is not a typical traineeship program. Trainees will be subjected to reviews, test and assessments periodically by management to ensure that only those who meet our expectations would be given the opportunity to pursue a career with us.

Qualifications

1. New graduates or graduates that have an interest in Special Education.
2. Degree in Psychology, Speech Therapy, Special Education, Linguistic or in related field.
3. Enjoy working with children.
4. Traineeship program - April intake.

The ideal candidate will work alongside with partners and associates on active deals and matters, and are given challenging responsibilities. The candidate will work in at least three areas of law during his/her two-year training programme and typically spend six months in four different departments. The candidate will assist with legal research, drafting legal documents, reviewing and comparing documents, due diligence, attending meetings with clients, and other matters relating to corporate / banking / finance transactional legal work.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the recruitment process by actively sourcing for talent in the related fields
• Involve in Business Development plan to enlarge company's market penetration
• Involve actively in Human Resource activities with regards to Hiring and Managing of potential candidates
• Provide career advice to candidates and clients with regards to current market trend
• Propose and negotiate business model / plan with targeted cliental pool
