Responsibilities:

• Assist senior sales to plan and solicit sales to meet / achieve set sales targets and goals within product range in assigned territories
• Pursue sales lead, promote products, and conclude order with professionalism
• Liaise with internal colleagues to coordinate activities in executing sales order
• Feedback and make report as required by the senior sales and above on all sales related activities and market information
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with key customers and grow the existing customer base and to develop new niche markets
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and assignments from time to time and other tasks as and when assigned by senior sales
• Handle basic sales order processing independently. Liaise with supplier to ensure timely delivery to customers

Requirement:

• Diploma / Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 1- 2 years experiences for Assistant Sales Engineer position
• Minimum 3 years experiences for Sales Engineer position
• Sales industry experience or engineer background experience in manufacturing, semiconductor industry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Candidates with experience in vacuum technologies related product are the most welcome

Candidate Profile:

• Possess relevant Bachelor and PhD degrees from reputable universities.
• A good research track record, and postdoctoral experience would be advantageous.
• Teaching experience at either undergraduate or graduate levels will be an advantage.
• Research intersects the multidisciplinary field of Metamorphic & Digital Manufacturing Systems
• Expertise in Metamorphic Manufacturing, and Future of Manufacturing
• And/or Expertise in Advanced Automation, Precision Control for Intelligent Machines, and Robotic Systems.
• And/or Expertise in Digital Manufacturing Systems, Digital Twins in Smart Manufacturing Systems.
• And/or Expertise in Translational research work with industry in Advanced Manufacturing.
• Successful candidates are expected to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels, supervise graduate students and undergraduate projects.
