Your Mission: As our Director, Global Payroll is based in Singapore reporting to the Senior Director Corporate Controller, your role will be pivotal managing and streamlining Maxeon’s global payroll operations across multiple regions, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and timely payments through strategic oversight and collaboration.

Make Your Mark: How You Will Drive Change:

· Manage the global payroll function for Maxeon’s operations across multiple regions, including the Americas, APAC and EMEA.

· Develop and implement a global payroll strategy, leading the Payroll Vendor Consolidation project for streamlined and automated operations.

· Lead payroll audits in 50+ countries to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and SOX standards for merit, bonus, and LTIP.

· Oversee pay-related escalations, monitor team and third-party performance, and drive process improvements, including automation and reporting.

· Collaborate with Global People Operations and third-party vendors to support end-to-end payroll processing and ensure timely, accurate payments.

· Ensure compliance with Data Privacy, SOX, and other legislative requirements, and foster cross-training and knowledge sharing within the team.

· Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting; CPA license is a plus.

About the role

The Head of Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization's goals and market trends. This role also oversees the payroll function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant employee payments. The incumbent will drive strategic initiatives to attract, retain, and reward talent while maintaining cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

About the responsibilities

You are responsible for developing and managing competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and payroll operations aligned with organizational goals. Key duties include conducting salary reviews, job evaluations, and pay equity assessments; ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency; and maintaining up-to-date governance frameworks for all functions. The role involves collaborating with HR, Finance, and leadership to align strategies, educating stakeholders on policies, and leveraging workforce data to drive informed decisions. You will also lead a team of 5, including the payroll team.

What you will bring along with you

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or it’s related field. You will also bring along with you 13 years of experience in similar capacity, coupled with at least 5 years in a people manager role. Expertise in designing and managing compensation and benefits programs, strong knowledge of payroll systems and regulations, and proficiency with HRIS and data reporting tools are essential. The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, along with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and high ethical standards. Having strong stakeholder management skills would be a key to success in this role. Candidates with consulting backgrounds who are looking to move into an in-house capacity are also encouraged to apply.

JOB SUMMARY

• The role sits on the trading floor between various rates desks, taking requirements from traders to build their pricing and market data tools

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish working relationships with traders to solve their pricing issues
• Develop Excel-based prototypes, leading to proof of concept releases, in alignment with the Bank’s strategic objectives
• Testing / debugging of quantitative analysis financial library functions
• Collaborate on Price engine design, including all analytics (price discovery, market and client profiling),
• Collaborate on the development of risk management frameworks, and associated execution strategies

• Address the demand for improved electronic access to liquidity.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business strategy.
• Deliver tactical Sales and Trading tools to address immediate needs and mitigate risk, and to facilitate the transition to the strategic platform.

• Accountable for ensuring deliveries are on-time and to specification, adhering to stringent quality requirements

Processes

• Drive the change programme required to execute business strategy through the Process Governance Committee, i.e.:
• Participate in driving continuous improvements in the business, i.e. for identifying and executing ad hoc improvements to business processes, policies, and structure.

Risk Management

• Operational risk: Maintain appropriate frameworks and procedures within business for monitoring, identifying, assessing, and managing operational risks, i.e.:
• Work with support areas to help identify and mitigate identified operational risks in their areas
• Capacity planning: Ensure that sufficient project resources exist by current and projected levels of business activity

• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in financial Institution in a front office role and/or extensive knowledge of Financial Markets and FM Products
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Analytical aptitude, creative problem solving abilities
• Knowledge of LATAM markets will be beneficial
