We are looking for one who is:

• Fluent communication skills in both Mandarin and English
• Able to be on standby and responsive as needed
• Pleasant personality, good temperament, reliable, down-to-earth, and extremely detail-oriented
• Occassional travelling is required
• Work in office (Hillview/Newton)
• $10/hr, 3 days work week between Mon-Fri 9-5pm
• 2 weeks probation with training provided $8/hr
• Convertabe to full time position
• Bonus provided at the end of every 12 months with us

Responsibilities

• Assist to plan and organize various activities, including but not limited to birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and social dinners, including reservations and arrangements
• Provide additional administrative support, including but not limited to administrative tasks during travel, property rental administration, and medical arrangements and accompaniment
• Calendar Management of Senior Management including travel management and planning
• Organise and schedule meetings and events, including arrangement of venues, preparing agendas and materials
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed. Ensure all materials are accurate and delivered on time.
• Minutes taking and ensure timely follow up on action items
• Act as the primary point of contactfor customers i.e. handle phone calls, emails and correspondence.
• Provide administrative support, including email correspondence, document management, admin building, pantry, facilities logistics, events planning and setup
• Other admin duties – obtaining supplies, sorting/distributing mails, general office administrative tasks

Competencies

1. Proven expertise in Asian and/or International Cuisine
2. Team player with effective communication and organisation skills
3. Deliver/Assess/Evaluate practical and theoretical modules in accordance with Institute and regulatory bodies requirements
4. Provide feedback and contribute insights into curriculum design, assessment, food preparation and food delivery
5. Experience in culinary competitions along with knowledge and/or experience in sustainably sourced food and eco-friendly dining concepts

Minimum Qualification

1. Diploma or Degree holder in relevant field of studies from a recognised educational institution with at least 5 years industry experience at a supervisory/managerial level
2. WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance and/or related teaching/training experience advantageous
3. Excellent command of English with an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
4. A strong passion for moulding learners coupled with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
5. Extensive industry knowledge and robust network of industry connection
