Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic individual to be a key member of the Race Operations team for the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day office and administrative operations, including sourcing of suppliers, management of inventory, and procurement. Organised and meticulous, you have to be able to think on your feet and can work well under deadline pressure. Administrative and operations work experience is advantageous. You will also be required to play a key role in managing the Volunteers & Officials who form the backbone of the event.

Key Requirements::

• Diploma in Events Management or equivalent. Prior motorsports experience will be advantageous

• Good command of English, and proficient in Microsoft Office

• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and solutions driven

• Have prior experience in volunteer management and/or motorsports industry

• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills

• Able to work on weekends, especially leading up to the Grand Prix

The Operations Executive is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing, managing and evaluation of the daily operations in PRISM+. He/She also works with internal and external teams to ensure daily operations such as planning, execution, and reporting of deliveries and fleet operations of the ceiling fan delivery teams or TV/Monitor/RMA delivery teams

The incumbent is in charge of boosting the Commercial Performance and plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the hotel’s financial and business objectives are met and everything is financially sound. Here’s an outline of their scope of work:

Strategic Planning and Revenue Growth

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue across all departments (rooms, food and beverage, events, etc.).
• Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and demand patterns to adjust pricing and promotions.
• Provide regular updates on sales performance, operational metrics, and financial results.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management and Sales teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.

Sales Oversight

• Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to ensure effective campaigns and promotions align with the hotel’s business goals.
• Drive initiatives to attract and retain key accounts and business partnerships.
• Evaluate the success of sales and marketing efforts and recommend improvements.            

Operational Leadership

• Oversee the performance of commercial departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Events, and Reservations).
• Ensure alignment between operations and the overall commercial strategy of the hotel.
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies that enhance profitability.
• Special projects champion to elevate Guest Satisfaction and improvement of process.
• Act as the General Manager’s representative in their absence, providing strong leadership and decision-making support.         

Financial Performance Monitoring

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), ADR (Average Daily Rate), GOP (Gross Operating Profit) and occupancy rates.
• Prepare and present regular financial and performance reports to senior management.
• Identify underperforming areas and create actionable plans to address them.

Customer Experience and Brand Alignment

• Ensure that commercial strategies are aligned with delivering an exceptional guest experience.

This role will serve as part of a team that is responsible for managing a key financial institution headquartered in Singapore spanning multiple markets and business lines, with a specific focus on Commercial & Money Movement Solutions (CMS), as well as Acquiring, Ecosystems and Value-added Services. • Review of draft / executed financing documents such as letters of offer / facility agreements & security / mortgage documents, validate draft financing and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to lawyers / valuers / insurers and etc.
• Perform the daily BAU operations by supporting Business Unit’s post approval documentation processes till redemption / full repayment.
• Perform roles as the facility agent, security agent and/or account bank in syndicated financing. Activities including but not limited to active participation in negotiation of the legal documents, conditions precedent collation, conditions subsequent and covenant tracking, management of facility life cycle and information dissemination.
• Liaise with Business Units and external parties such lawyers / valuers / insurers.
• Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of credit facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are being custodized.
• In charge of preparing letters / reports, updating of registers and custodians of documents.
• Manage day-to-day business transactions to ensure that the agreed turnaround time with the business is met
• Ensures accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time with the Business Units while minimizing operational risks and losses.
