The Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a to support our business development executive/contracts recruiter to support our sales activities in the China/Japan/Korea region. Based in Singapore, this is a key role start and grow our business in this area.
The Sales Consultant will lead the growth of our outsourced technical services (OTS) site placement business by hiring the best talent into the organization, developing a pipeline of potential candidates for future business growth and act as a first point of contact for our clients.
We are interested in speaking with professionals who have a strong track record in technical recruitment within the Pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities
- Recruitment for outsourced technical services with our pharmaceutical clients. Typical roles outsourced include process engineers, automation engineers, CQV engineers and project managers
- Working with client hiring managers to define key role requirements and lead the hiring process defining recruitment channels, screening, carrying out first interviews, and final negotiations
- Maintaining recruitment systems on a daily basis to ensure information is kept up-to-date.
- Identifying and attracting talent into the business from a wide variety of on and off line sources including social networking, executive recruitment, and developing networking channels
- Supporting business development activities, including identifying new clients, managing / negotiating existing contracts and acting as a first point of contact for our clients and employees
- Conducting on site visits/meetings with both current employees and clients to develop business and strengthen existing relationships.
Qualifications / Requirements
- 0-2 years’ experience in technical recruitment within the Asian pharmaceutical industry
- Technical background with a relevant qualification in engineering or science
- Must love cold calling/cold prospecting.
- Must be able to grow and develop a cold desk
- Likeable and outgoing/charismatic personality
- Hunger and passion for winning deals
- Ability to work autonomously and with minimum supervision
- Proven track record achieving and exceeding sales target.
