• Lead product engineering, yield management, data management, newproduct introduction & test engineering teams - set vision/goals, guide,direct, inspire/motivate, hire, train, enable, develop competencies,plan succession & org structure to drive high performance &improvements.
• Lead & ownership of Product Yield, covering complete yield supplychain, deep dive every yield challenge, analyse, propose, influence &drive improvement in FE, assembly, subcons and internal manufacturing contributing directly to business output & site results i.e. 1206 products
• Manage, run and control final test sample management business process, execution, prioritization and delivery to enable divisionbusiness wins of new development projects. Also responsible on resources planning, order creation and fulfilment, order charging and delivery.
• Test package ownership - Govern and drive test robustness atqualification and releases. Explore and derive new solutions to resolveboth hardware and software difficulties and marginality with latest test technology and platforms introduced with new product requirements.
• Responsible for product & process test capability improvement and provides technical leadership with direct impact for segment, backend test. Extensive portfolio to master, with products of all 4 division and Microcontrollers lead new generation of final testing in the industry.
• Drive reduction of deviation lots with 1st pass yield enhancement and no retest program, directly contributing to OEE performance. Fast disposition of lots on hold, feedback to pre-process for process control optimization. Thus, providing value to assembly segments.
• Responsible for competitive test cost year on year with identification, co-develop approach, data mining and implementation of ratio projects (test/burn time reduction, insertion removal) with div. Diverse field of competency covering digital, analog and mixed signaltesting, lead/leadless/ball grid packaging thermal mechanical knowhow.
• Ensure test product quality - perform electrical analysis of FARs,identify root cause, provide corrective/preventive measures as effective firewall via test, product characterisation, create DoE to establishtest manufacturability framework for sustainable excellence.
• Drive automation in PTE works - design and incorporate automation into product engineering work reducing manual and repeated tasks. Leadand build data analytics into standards for artificial intelligent applications that could be rolled out to other BE sites.

Requirements :

• Min 15 years of releavent working experiences in semiconductor backed testing
• Min Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or relevant discipline
• Strong knowledge on proect and testing engineering in semiconductor backend testing
• Strong communication and team management experiences
• Experiences wotking in functional matrix organization and diverse cultural environment

In your new role you will:

• Undertakes product ownership for Microcontroller semiconductor Products for both New products and products in production.
• Develop and champion key business metrics, continual optimization and improvement
• Oversees CIP programs to extend product life cycle, enhance product competitiveness and improve gross margins.
• Work closely with Development and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and lifecycle management.
• Responsible for managing and optimizing digital tools, platforms, and processes to ensure smooth workflows and increase overall team efficiencies.
• Carry out benchmarking to ensure state-of-the-art processes, tools and methodologies employed to speed up improvement measures.
• Optimize team performance by motivating team by example, influence, training and structure.
• Manage the career development and staffing of team members.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering discipline, with a working knowledge on fundamental hardware and software design applications.
• >12yrs experience in semiconductor industry; Product engineering and/or Chip Designer background
• >5 years of leadership experience required
• Strong technical background and understanding of semiconductor technologies, architectures, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.
• Innovative and creative; proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change
• Experience in Digital transformation in your current job area. Eg, solutions such as Automation, RPA, AI..etc
