a. Fuel business growth

• Lead LIMM/VSM projects for the Snacks BU, improving product quality, process, margins and productivity.
• Margin management covers aspects such as Technical & Financial feasibility and operational stability. Understands state of the business and leverages knowledge to optimize plant process time/costs and the use of seasoning, reduce and minimize seasoning waste and implement learning into seasoning design and scale up including recyclability. Anticipates obstacles affecting other business functions.
• Drive improvement in food testing methodology translating lab risk recyclability assessment prior to commercialization in plant.
• Provide technical support for commissioning, qualifying and validating new or improved processes, production lines and factories.
• Support NPD Consumer Research sample Food Prep and for AMEA region, coordinating and liaise with the commercial team, ensuring food reach the market/agency timely.

• Demonstrates personal capabilities as a Technical Lead, Planner, Coordinator, Communicator and Technical Expert in leading successful VSM projects.

• Possesses an innovative mindset in discovery, evaluation and application of new technologies in seasoning usage process, research and development, and have a significant impact on existing and new products, improved products and increased efficiency on flavor application processes (lab and plant).

d. Technical expertise

• Provides technical direction as a Seasoning (SME) translating risk assessment lab scale to plant, minimizing the need for Trials, helping the business to increase plant capacity.
• Provide support to Supply Chain (Production and Operation team) on seasoning related plant troubleshooting post VSM project implementation as required.
• Provide support to Plant QA and Planner as the technical SME for seasoning related matters (E.g. shelf life extension which leads to reduction of HRI)
• Work with supplier, Product Developer, Process Lead and Sensory team to enable seasoning waste reduction (e.g. recyclability) of newly upscaled new Pringles flavors.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• Degree in Food Science or Engineering. At least 3-4 years experience in food R&D.
• Experience in snacks seasoning development and scale up, large scale food production is desirable.
• Proven track record in communication, diplomacy in building strong relationships with peers, cross functional teams, collaboration, teamwork, prioritization and project management will be neneficial in the effective executive of KIMM/VSM projects.
• Excellent understanding of R&D and operations and be able to function effectively as a Technical Lead, Planner, Coordinator, Communicator, and Technical Expert.

Responsible in overseeing the performance of outsourced maintenance service provider for mechanical and fire safety related services and in the hospital to always achieve installed systems’ functionality as well as serviceability. To audit and monitor the service standard rendered by specialist vendors and outsourced maintenance service provider. To support the GFM Site Lead, Mechanical and Fire Safety Lead in capital nature replacements for installed mechanical systems and building improvement projects. Job Responsibilities

· Work closely with FM Site Lead, Mechanical Lead and Fire Safety Trade Lead, in building clear scope, expectations and deliverables for the Mechanical and Fire Safety teams as well as planning for specialty training and develop the capabilities of Mechanical and Fire Safety Team members.

· As a Subject Matter expert to assist the Mechanical and Fire Safety Lead in ensuring team members understands their scope.

· Work closely with team members, service provider and specialist vendors on system breakdown investigations, inspections, audits, review of maintenance program, etc.

· To lead / provide support in the investigation of incident/system failure to determine root cause of failure as needed.

· To participate and support in audits that the hospital subscribes to.

· Oversee, monitor and manage Mechanical and Fire Safety systems/ services and specialist vendor contracts to ensure timely renewals and contract requirements are fulfilled.

· Ensure timely renewal of authority licences and permits.

· Ensure processes are in accordance and compliant with Audit Risk Committee recommendations, NUHS Contract Management, Procurement and Finance Policies and Processes

· Be familiar and ensure compliance with SCDF fire codes and/ or SSCP as well as to be up to date with any amendments being in place.

· To respond and support the maintenance agent and vendors in mitigating and recovery of critical system failure or incident.

· Work closely with FM Admin team on compilation of contract documents, such as agreement, checklist, warranties, etc.

· Monitor vendors’ performance, deliverables and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are as per contract awarded

· Perform invoice verification against works completed for timely processing of invoices

· To ensure repair to reported system fault and breakdown are carried out in a timely manner

· To carry out monthly analysis to Mechanical/Fire Safety systems breakdown and recommend improvement plan as needed

· Filing and documentation recording of all authorities; correspondences

· Conduct internal audits to check on non-compliances, identify gaps and follow-ups till closure

· Represent mechanical/fire safety team as the liaison party on authority matters

· Review and update standard operating procedures (SOP) and working instructions as required

· Develop and harmonise trade related SOPs, Preventive Maintenance Checklists and working instructions with the cluster institutions for alignment to prevailing Singapore Standards / Code of Practices and/or industry best practices for benchmarking.

· Plan and oversee Mechanical/ Fire Safety system upgrades/improvements or replacements before their expiration or its end of life through MOHRR or CAPEX funding.

· Project Manager or render support to Project Managers for improvement works to existing hospital facilities such as renovation and retrofitting, replacement of system infrastructure and improvement initiatives to existing specialized systems and hospital facilities.

· Prepare Approval To Purchase (ATP) and Approval To Award papers for Preventive Maintenance Contracts and projects.

· Maintain good documentation (e.g records of all contracts, reports, agreements, checklists) with FM Admin team to ensure full compliance.

· Keep abreast of technical developments particularly associated with technology in building engineering services and building management and in all aspects of the mechanical, electrical and fire safety disciplines.

Requirements

· Bachelor degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Facilities Management or equivalent.

· Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in management of mechanical systems operations.

· Experience in the operations and replacement of Fire Safety/ Alarm System, Medical Gas/Vacuum System, Lift and Escalator System, Pneumatic Tube System is advantageous.

Roles & Responsibilities

Candidates are expected to:-

· Ensure seaworthiness of the ship in accordance to voyage schedule and bunker operation.

· Lead the ship’s officers and crew in the following, including but not limited to:-

1. Comply with applicable rules, instructions, and contracts of cargo operations;

2. Implement and execute prevailing maritime safety and environmental policies;

3. Enforce security and safety procedures in accordance with local, national, and international laws and requirements;

4. Upkeep and review relevant shipboard documents, certificates, and records, including but not limited to vessel certificates, navigation manuals, and crew qualifications;

5. Review safety and environment-related activities; and

6. Review shipboard contingency procedures.

· Take charge of the Safety Management System, including but not limited to:-

1. Lead and assign roles to senior officers;

2. Ensure the system is kept current through regular audits; and

3. Ensure all records are kept current and accurate.

4. Ensure all ship’s crew possess qualifications that comply with maritime regulations and conventions, such as MARPOL, SOLAS, SCTW, and ISPS; and

· Ensure that onboard training requirements are met.
