Technical qualities

• Recent in-house compliance experience of at least 5 years in a FMC, another professional services company, and / or at the MAS is crucial

In this role, you are expected to:

• Be the operational and technical expert to clients, as well as business teams to support cross-functional and in-country initiative deliveries.

• Act as the liaison for clients, providing insights and inputs for new or changing products and services, problem management, proactive identification of processing efficiencies, service change and system enhancement support.  You will be required to act as the CS liaison to coordinate internal CS resources to accomplish Visa and clients’ objectives.

• Support business and product teams on new clients’ onboarding activities (including on-boarding onto NITMX) from pre-launch to post-implementation monitoring and new service deliveries.

• Provide proactive planning and operational support to ensure that clients and Visa are operating in the most effective and cost-efficient manner while managing costs and increasing overall transaction performance (including authorization, clearing & settlement, back-office processing)

• Represent complex customer change requests, system, or operational requirements, negotiate and manage expectations internally and externally and determine the appropriate courses of action to deliver.

• Collaborate with Account Executives to identify, capture and deliver additional value-added services and new payment flow opportunities to increase service quality and revenue.

• Advocate on behalf of clients to internal stakeholders including AE, CS, MS&A, Product and Risk for expedited resolution and implementation of solutions achieving highest degree of client satisfaction with a view on enhancing the client’s Visa experience.

• Deliver support for Visa’s biannual business enhancements and Visa mandates to clients.

• Assist in incident management by communicating incident status to the clients through its resolution.

• Stay current with industry, client trends, and maintain a working knowledge of Visa products and services. Be on top of key Visa mandates and rule changes, to be able to articulate technical changes and analyze the impacts in consultation with the clients.

• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the client experience by streamlining operational processes.

• Undertake other duties and tasks assigned by your manager and the Client Success Lead for Singapore.

Requirements:

• Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or other related disciplines.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in Ecology, Biodiversity surveys and EIA/ EMMP, environmental planning or environmental management sector. Qualified applicants will be considered for senior positions.
• Candidates with graphic skills such as CAD, GIS, Photoshop, will be highly regarded.
• Candidates with proven project management ability will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects on Noise, Vibration and Building Acoustics, (both internal and environmental) working closely with Project Managers and Project Director.
• Contribute to environmental projects in Singapore, SE Asia, and Asia (depending on project opportunities) on the Noise and Vibration components
• Support in conducting Building Acoustics assessments
• Be responsible for writing/ mentoring and reviewing reports and associated technical output with multinational clients and government agencies;
• Participate in key activities associated with the development of the Noise/ Vibration and Building Acoustics disciplines with the respective leads in each major country/region; attend weekly team meetings and participate in technical knowledge transfer sessions and technical conferences
• Perform site visit/inspection/assessment and supervise subcontractors as required for the projects handled
• Support other projects in Singapore and other regions as and when required
• Support team manager in project and proposal management as well as administrative duties
• Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures of the company
• Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior
• Shall perform other duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time

Requirements:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines (e.g. Civil engineering, Building Physics etc.)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contributing to the noise and vibration chapters in Environmental Impact Assessments, Noise and Vibration Impact Assessments (ideally, for major infrastructure projects and manufacturing/ chemical process industries) and Building Acoustics assessments
• Preferable to have a knowledge of SoundPlan/ CadnaA for environmental noise modelling, EASE/ODEON for room acoustics modelling
• Graphics skills such as CAD, GIS, Photoshop, will be highly regarded.
• Knowledge of local and international acoustics codes, laws and regulations will be highly regarded.
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills

• Technical support as Project Manager working closely with Project Director.
• Contributing to environmental projects and business growth in Singapore, SE Asia, and Asia (depending project opportunities) on technical aspects of one or more of the following: Air impact assessment, air dispersion modeling, air quality monitoring, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Pollution Control Study. Ability to work on a combination of these services will be highly regarded.
• Leading impact assessments and people for infrastructure projects and industrial development using renowned international predictive models
• Contributing to or conducting project presentations and client meetings with senior staff and Project Managers.
• Business development support for current and prospective clients.
• Comply with quality management on all work products.
• Task budgeting and scheduling control.
• Coordinating with stakeholders, sub-consultants and other disciplines, as necessary.
• Business travels may be required.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or other related disciplines (e.g., civil engineering and environmental engineering) OR Bachelor’s degree plus equivalent years of experience in the environmental field.
• Six plus years of relevant experience in air/noise monitoring, air/noise modeling and impact assessments, environmental engineering sector. Qualified applicants will be considered for senior positions.
• Adept Knowledge in air dispersion models such as AERMOD, GRAL, CALPUFF, CAL3QHCR, etc will be regarded
• Candidates with graphic skills such as CAD, GIS, Photoshop, will be highly regarded.
