Overview
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for IT system infrastructure design and implementation for Japanese bank customers.
Descriptions:
· Responsible for the design, installation & configuration, testing and other customer support in IT system implementation projects, mainly with Microsoft Windows and RHEL environment to the specifications of client’s requirements.
· Understanding the customers’ system architecture and design.
· Perform on-site and remote support for software and network troubleshooting.
· Perform regular maintenance to maintain the infrastructure including mission critical systems.
· Manage project documentations (e.g. architecture design, parameter design, test spec plan/result, operation procedure manual etc) for new IT system implementation & its change.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent.
· Experience in OS & middleware software configuration design & installation in any mission critical system implementation projects or strong will to expand the capability for system designing area.
· Work experience based on ITSM standards, processes, guidelines and provide own best practices.
· Minimum 3 years of working experience in Windows Server and its components - IIS, Network Load Balancing and Windows Clustering.
· Minimum 3 years of working experience in RHEL, IBM MQ and SQL Server (including SSRS).
· Knowledge in storage system, network system (TCP/IP, load balancer and firewall).
· Scripting experience (e.g. Powershell/Shell) for BAU task automation is advantage.

- IBM ConnectDirect
- Luna HSM
- Project Management Professional or equivalent
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong willingness to learn new technology and skills
· Working experience in Japanese companies is an advantage
