Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team in the pharmaceutical industry. This role will provide support in managing and executing engineering projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will assist with project planning, execution, and coordination to help achieve project milestones effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of engineering projects, ensuring timely progress and completion.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, design plans, and updates for stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Support quality control processes to ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Technical Support: Work closely with Senior Project Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise on-site.
• Supplier and Vendor Liaison: Assist in coordinating with suppliers and vendors for project resources, equipment, and material procurement.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all engineering activities align with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Cost Management: Assist with budget tracking and cost management to maintain financial discipline within project timelines.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field).
• Experience: 0-2 years of experience in engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project) and CAD software. Familiarity with GMP, safety regulations, and industry standards is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with project teams and stakeholders.

Assist Project Manager in project planning and coordination on site.

Manage day to day site operations

Attend clients, consultants, sub-contractors and site meetings

Manage, monitor, delegate and motivate the construction project team.

Deploy required resources such as manpower, machinery & equipment in accordance to the project requirements.

Promote strong safety culture and ensure site safety and vironmental control measures are in place at all times.

Other role as assigned by Project Manager.

· Obtained a valid Plumber License with PUB in Singapore.

· Supervision of water services works by the company

· Submission to relevant authorities’ water service submission

· Advise of Engineers on works that require submissions and procedures

· Ensure compliance of work activities to prevailing regulations

Python, Linux/Unix shell, JSP, Ruby, pearl. Troubleshoot intermediate networking issues like interoperability, connectivity, diagnostics and configuration. Build and manage circuit design, layout, provisioning, platform recommendations & feature testing. Field issue escalations, diagnosing, analysis by reproducing the issue, root cause analysis. Intermediate level networking skills.

Make an Impact by:

• Partner with Engineering team and the Vendors to develop and validate network design for infrastructure and services,
• Manage the resources required for the service integration and network consolidation projects and be responsible for the execution of the projects implementation.
• Lead the team to operate the transport network,
• Monitors the network resources, plan and execute the network changes of expansion, optimazation, and upgrade, to meet the service needs and requirement.
• Take the proactive measures to prevent service difficulties and quick reaction with the relevant stake holders for efficient solutions for fault cases, as well the follow-ups of remedies,
• Validate and review the MOP (Method of Procedure) for each Change Request to ensure the smooth service change,
• Service impact analyse on scheduled service changes / faults / outage, and inform the relevant stake holders,
• Provide the network monitoring reports, the network health reports, and analyse the trends and provide suggestions for improvement,
• Prepare the budgets and track the expenditures,
• Perform the other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

Skills for Success:

• Possess Degree of Engineering in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic or relevant,
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in Telecom industry,
• Goal oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skill, committed to deliver high quality outputs, effectively utilized team member to full potential and motivates the team to work together in the most efficient manner,
• Good technical skills of IP concept of LAN, WAN, VPN, and the relevant network protocols, such OSPF, BGP, ISIS, LDP, DHCP and Dark Fibre Structured Cabling, etc…,
• Project experience with multi-vendor interoperability and development for provisioning of L2 and L3 services.
