The Sales Business Risk Manager directs and oversees front to back risks for the Sales Processes within Transaction Banking (TB) Sales. Manage all TB Sales risk universe; not limiting to Cash Sales risks; Cash Mis-selling & Cash Pricing and Trade Sales Risks; Conflicts of interest, Misuse of Sensitive or MNPI, Trade Mis-selling, Trade Pricing and Client Pricing Communications.
Reporting to the Head of Sales Performance Management (SPM), this role manages all Sales related risks globally. The incumbent will focus on the end-to-end Cash and Trade Sales processes risk controls, reporting, governance and supervision. The primary requirements of the role will be to:

• Act as the voice, eyes and ears of the Global Heads of TB Corporate and FI Sales, for all matters related to Risk for Cash and Trade Sales processes.

A pivotal role in our client’s new setup. Reporting directly to the General Manager (GM), you will oversee and integrate operations across our hotel and hospital services, ensuring exceptional guest and patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Coordination

• Lead and execute operational strategies across hotel and hospital functions, aligning with organizational goals.
• Collaborate closely with the GM and executive leaders to ensure seamless integration between hospitality and healthcare services.
• Serve as the primary liaison between hotel and hospital teams, fostering effective communication and synergy.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee daily operations, including guest/patient services, housekeeping, food & beverage, facilities, and healthcare management.
• Monitor performance metrics to uphold the highest standards in hospitality and healthcare operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, policies, and standards.

Guest and Patient Experience

• Cultivate a culture of excellence in service delivery, catering to the unique needs of guests and patients.
• Develop initiatives to enhance satisfaction and build loyalty.
• Resolve escalated guest and patient concerns promptly and effectively.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and inspire departmental heads across hotel and healthcare operations.
• Promote collaboration and accountability within the team.
• Implement training programs to enhance operational skills and elevate service delivery.

Financial Management

• Manage budgets for hotel and hospital operations, focusing on cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the GM and senior leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising service quality.

Innovation and Compliance

• Introduce innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in hospitality and healthcare sectors.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• 5 to 10 years of senior leadership experience with significant exposure to both hotel and healthcare operations will be advantage
• Proven track record of managing large teams in high-performance environments

Skills

• Strategic leadership and operational management expertise.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Financial management skills and regulatory compliance knowledge.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Demographics: Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR)
• Lanuguages: Ability to converse in Mandarin as required to liaison with Chinese clients
• Cultural Fit: In-depth understanding of Singapore’s hospitality and healthcare sectors

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive business growth and achieve sales revenue targets.
• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize market penetration and increase brand awareness.
• Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of sales and marketing efforts with business objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead of industry developments.
• Analyze sales and marketing data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals to drive performance and achieve targets.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• At least 3 – 8 years of sales experience (Room Sales/ MICE/ Catering Sales), from hospitality industry

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative plans that help us hit our goals and keep everything aligned.
• Oversee daily operations in the events department to ensure smooth sailing for all our events
• Review and enhance our processes quarterly to boost efficiency, cut costs, and elevate event quality.
• Leverage the latest tech and innovation solutions to streamline operations and minimise risks
• Oversee the planning and execution of all events, making sure they're on time, within budget, and meet our high standards
• Approve and monitor event-related spending and keep our financial records on point.
• Guide and support the project team, providing direction and developing training programs every six months to level up their skills
• Conduct quarterly reviews of team performance and give helpful feedback to keep everyone on track
• Advise project managers to ensure client needs and expectations are met for every event.
• Keep the senior management in the loop about operational performance, including event results, budget status, and any challenges every quarter.
